Hotel Zazz

Love the Zazz!! My favorate place stay in ABQ. Everything about it is magical and special - and so are the people that work there. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this hotel in the Arts district! Walking distance from pretty much anything you need. The room was super cute and the property was well maintained and very creative.

Clean and comfortable. Great value. Would stay again.

What a cute hotel! So colorful and well maintained both the rooms and the grounds. We went to the speakeasy, ate popsicles and used the pool. Staff was sooo nice. Would stay here again!

We drove from Kansas to the Grand Canyon and back, HotelZazz ties for our favorite hotel along the way. I wish we’d planned to stay in ABQ longer than one night now! We will be back and we will be booking at Zazz!!!! ❤️

Super cool hotel and staff!

Floors were a bit dirty but the sheets were clean. It’s an old motel from the 60s with colorful paints. Staff is friendly. Location is great. Bar is fantastic. Support a local small business and give this place a try!

Loved the whole vibe, the colorful decor, clean room, and friendly staff, also great location! Only complaints: Pillows were kind of lumpy, and the pool only opens at 10am with an 11am checkout, making it hard to get to use the pool. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Great funky design. Having paid about $145 a night for our stay, I was surprised to be informed on arrival, there was parking and amenities as extras. This equates to about $24 a night. Apparently the amenities include, the dressing gown, swimming pool and free popsicles. The pool you cannot use for a morning swim before 10am?? There is a bar on site and unfortunately for both nights of our stay we woken up by people returning to their rooms worse for the wear. Additionally the cleanliness of the bathroom and behind the beds and tv area needs addressing. The bed is not comfortable. I did challenge the extra charges on arrival but was informed it was clear on booking.com. To me it is not, I can see they charge for parking(why?) but I cannot see the amenities charge. I was told someone from management would contact me to address my concerns, but they did not, so felt compelled to write this review so others can see what the actual cost of their booking will be.

This was a clean & unique property! The only thing was the surprise parking fee! Expedia didn't disclose this with the resort fee.

Such a fun and creative place. They even had a comedy night. The property was just super cute everything from the pens to the pads to the soap.

Hotel Zazz is really fun and is always clean when I stay there.The parking is always impossible, and this time was no different. You pay to park in their parking lot and it is so difficult to find a place, and to get in and out of the spaces. This time when I checked and checked out, one of the ladies was on her phone the entire time. I had a question, and only she could answer it, and she seemed annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with my question. I have stayed here several times, but I doubt that I will be back after this time. It was not a pleasant experience overall. It has always been a fun place to stay, but not anymore.

Disappointing

Good vibes speakeasy was sooo fun drinks were delicious. The floors for our room were really dirty as if they had not been cleaned and the shower floors as well.

Fantastic stay on route 66, lots of additional perks and the staff were fantastic throughout, we will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

Cute property overall. Speakeasy and staff at speakeasy were wonderful. Speakeasy was definitely the highlight of the property and the reason I rated as high as I did. Pool was a good temperature. Property needs A LOT of maintenance. The chairs at pool area need cleaning as well as the pool itself. We had to use skimmer to clean the pool ourselves. There was only 1 pool float- a second had a leak. Paint is peeling almost everywhere (pics on site must have been taken when everything was fresh and new) and decals on walls need refreshing. The place has great potential but needs some TLC. My biggest issue was this: the first room we were assigned had a wet carpet. I stepped on it in socks and my socks became wet and dirty. I called office about it and the woman said she had to call housekeeping, they probably cleaned the carpet without informing her. She hung up without telling me, then texted me a new room # after asking if we had put anything on the beds already, used any toiletries or towels, etc. There was a movie screen at the pool in a state of disrepair and no movies were showing until June. That was definitely not in the property description.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating during my entire stay. The location was also great and very convenient. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The king-sized bed was unbelievably comfortable and felt like sleeping on a cloud! If you’re looking for a hotel with amazing aesthetics, great service, and a fun boutique-style experience, I highly recommend Hotel Zazz. I would definitely stay here again!
