Wyndham Garden Westlake

Horrible it took us literally 2 hours to wait in check out line all to get to the front of the line and be told I have to wait two more hours for a room to be cleaned as the day housekeeper didn’t clean rooms. The front desk staff was checking people in assigning you a room than they had to go clean the room. We was so exhausted we ended up cleaning our room ourselves to avoid waiting an additional two hours. No discount for the inconvenience nor was there any available rooms in the area to rebook as our room was completely paid for prior to check in . Such a disappointment. Only positive is the two staff at front desk was very nice and overworked.

Desk staff Gabby was friendly and did her best each day. We reported the tub drain being clogged and reported it wasn’t fixed. We were there 4 days. The pool was overrun by unsupervised kids on both Fri and Sat. It was scary and disappointing.

The hotel was horrible. The whole second floor smelled like chlorine bleach really bad burning my eyes. The rooms weren’t clean. I checked in about 430. They told me housekeeping was not available at the moment. They will call me when my room was available. I left came back at nine still not available. Came back at 10 still not available when I got the room. It was assigned to another guy who walked in on me and My Son worse hotel ever the lady at the front desk helped me while I was there but no luck it was a basketball team my son was apart of and 4 players had. Nowhere to stay after these rooms was booked weeks in advance

We returned around 6:30 PM and waited about 40 minutes only to be told our room was still not ready and it could be another two hours. We came back around 9:30 PM and were given keys to Room 200 but the room had not been cleaned. We went back downstairs and were given another room but those keys did not work so we had to go back again. When we finally got into the room the TV had a bad signal everything was unplugged and the bathtub would not drain properly. Because of all the delays we missed using the pool and the bar since both were closed by the time we got settled. The front desk extended our checkout until 1:00 PM which we appreciated but this experience was very disappointing. I do not believe this was just a housekeeping issue. It seems like a management or staffing problem that needs to be fixed. Our evening plans were completely ruined and I hope this improves for future guests.

Hotel was clean.

There was a young couple making out in the hot tub (drunk) with a large amount of children swimming nearby No one was monitoring this area as there were no towels, trash all around and very obvious inappropriate things occurring. They were incredibly understaffed. One person working the counter on a Friday night and the hotel was almost at full capacity There pool hours listed on site 8-10 where listed as 10-9 when we arrived. The hot breakfast items were all cold. Could be a beautiful facility if it were staffed better

Lovely property. Very clean

Good: I was able to quickly obtain 2 paper plates from the bartender, who was very helpful and courteous. Bad: we got the 2nd to last room on the top floor and had to walk and walk and walk at age 70 from the elevator. Also, shower didn’t drain.Breakfast not included, so it didn’t offset the lower cost.

It is definitely a budget hotel. The pool smell lingers throughout the entire hotel from the pool being indoors. The A/C in my room barely worked and was very loud. Elevators sound like they are on their last leg. The shower was rusted around the drain. The sink in the room seemed to have been cracked and patched.

No maid service, we barely had enough toilet paper, no coffee, and only 2 towels for 2 people.

Amazing bartender! It was first night alone and she did phenomenal! Food was great, and the local company was part of the experiences

There is a single ice machine for the whole hotel and it was badly out of order. Might not have even been plugged in. The room toilet was very low to the ground. No hair dryer in the room.

There was a stain on bedding that looked like poop or blood, the tub looked was if it hadn’t been cleaned out, there wasn’t any towels in the room at . The hot tub closed at 9 way to early so we couldn’t enjoy. And the staff moved way to slow but was friendly so we didn’t even stay we left at 10 at night because it was too uncomfortable there

The room had a bad smell when I walked in it and I complained to the front desk and asked them to change my room but the hotel was fully booked according to them so I asked them to spray something in the room or clean the carpet but nothing was done then at night I found cockroaches on the bed mattress and behind the bed frame and when I got out in the hallway there was a lot of trash and a RAT, and I complained again to the front desk but nothing was done, my worst experience ever in a hotel in my life

We were placed in this hotel due to a snafu with Expedia and original property that we booked. This hotel is massive and certainly had rooms even with softball tournament teams and someone's engagement party being hosted there. It was in a very convenient location. Breakfast was cost effective just not very diverse set of choices. The hotel would benefit from a maintenance upgrade. Our room was dark as cave with only one lamp and other bulbs not working. The curtains were broken. Generally the entire building could use a paint job. The bathtub was not draining properly.

The left the spare bed in the middle of the room with no sheets I couldn’t even find the coffee table to eat on . I had to ask for ask for another room . Location, nice bathroom The pillows were thrown on the bed and the top sheet was on top of the blanket. Ugh! Bad signage to the room. No extra blankets or pillows.

Room was nice, fitness center needs updating and cleaned. Biggest problem was check in, the system was down and we had to wait about 40 minutes to get checked in, should have offered a free breakfast or something for compensation Hotel common areas could have used cleaning over night or in the early morning, general messes everywhere, sheets and towels in hallways and just drinks and food boxes everywhere.

Not enough staff. Long wait times at check in. Room was dirty, found old French fries under the dresser and bed.
