DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront South

Room was ok …walk in shower is small. Room was clean and bed was comfortable we were located on the 2nd floor….ocean front balcony however balcony overlooks the roof of the restaurant which was not a pleasant sight. Parking garage is terrible very dirty not worth the $15 charge per day.

This was more of a staycation but the room and view was amazing! There was a bit of a nat problem but I think it was more humidity related. The CLEANLINESS was my favorite part! Not even dust bunnies! I'd definitely go back.

This is an older hotel but it’s well maintained. The proximity to the beach and boardwalk is perfect which is reflected in the pricing. My room had 2 double beds which were extremely comfortable. The room is a little small but if you had more people in it but just fine for a solo traveler. The bathroom is definitely on the small side where the closing door comes close to the toilet but still manageable for me. The parking garage is a little inconvenient because it’s about a block away so plan to drop bags and walk back. It’s not difficult at all just not ideal. The garage is multilevel with no elevator so plan accordingly. There is a valet option at a considerable cost. They park the cars in the same lot. Similar to other garages in VA Beach the spaces are uncomfortably tight. I would definitely return here for a future stay.

Rooms with oceanfront balconies Noisy evening due to loud music next to hotel . Parking garage not well lit and dirty . No EV charger in parking lot . $$$ per room per night

The bathroom was dirty. The bathroom floor was filthy. The beds and the furniture was cracked up. The t v had bad reception and the balcony door did not close all the way had cracks in it. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends. The hotel rooms are in really bad shape. The bedrooms furniture was really bad and cracked up and broken. The bathroom floor was filthy and no hooks to hang the towels on the t.V.Reception was horrible.The back on the door would not close.All the way and the a c didn't work.

Could have been a bit better maintenance wise especially for the price but it served its purpose. Being right on the beach was very nice. Was kinda ridiculous parking wasn’t included. $15 a day really adds up.

Cleanliness Trevor, front desk, was not personable/helpful. He knew I was going to park my car in the garage. He saw my give the room keys to my boyfriend and didn’t bother telling me I needed the key to get in the parking garage. When I return for a key-he had it ready!

Clean room very friendly staff. Loved that it was right on the beach. The restaurant, Mahi's, was delicious. It is in a great location on the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only downside was $15 a day to park. Will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Virginia Beach

Property was run down but location to beach was great for the price. Really enjoyed the hotel sushi bar as well!

Room was clean , staff was friendly and helpful. Maui restaurant was delicious.

spacious rooms, lobby area nice and clean. semi easy check in my mom’s room had multiple dirty face cloths under the sink area in the bathroom. my door didn’t completely lock

The valets and the restaurant and restaurant staff was wonderful. The hotel needs a great deal of maintenance. It is well below the Hilton standard. The check in person was horrible. She did not want to be bothered, was rude & dismissive.
