Wyndham Garden Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino

New building so everything is modern and up to date. Lobby and all amenities are cleaned very well. Pool closes at 10 which is posted nowhere, so keep that in mind for any late night dips. Other than that staff was there when needed, and left you alone otherwise. Very solid choice for the price.

The room was very clean and the air conditioning was excellent. We visited in the heat of summer and the room stayed very cool.

Hotel is very nice and updated. Walked back from the amp (about a mile) but faster than parking or uber. States that there is self serve breakfast but there is not and everything cost $$.

We had stayed here before for one night and decided to come back. It's 5 mins from the Hard Rock Casino so great location. I got a good deal with Expedia. Staff were nice. Room appeared clean but then I saw a gummy worm on the floor beside the bed and it was not ours, so maybe not that clean? Bed was comfortable and room was quiet at night. I only received one room coffee pod so went to front desk and he gave me another. Went to use it and it was an old square pod, not even the right one and it was open so coffee went everywhere! We bought a coffee from the lobby and it was great! There was NO hot water in the shower and the body wash was empty! That was a bummer. We told the lady at check in. Parking is great. We didn't use it but the pool looked nice! All in all we love the place and location, so we will stay here again.

The room was clean, but unfortunately, the little fridge barely worked, and there was half a roll of toilet paper that didn’t last the night

The staff was great from check in until check out. Nothing but positive things to say about my stay.

Beautiful hotel. It should be being it was obviously new. The room door springs were exceptionally strong, making it a pain to get your luggage in/out. My only complaint was the breakfast was NOT COMPLIMENTARY. They require a $150 deposit up front. But a cup of coffee & glass of OJ was over $5.00.

Water was not hot

Staff was not helpful, questions and requests were ignored. We were to be in a double room, not, a king room, and we went to the front desk immediately after we checked our room, but, staff did not acknowledge our questions, and ignored us, even while standing in front of them, they looked passed us, as if we were not there. No hot water to shower. We requested to have hot water repaired or move us to new room. No response was given and no repair was provided and we were not moved to another room. Maintenance did not even come to our room. It was very disappointing that both requests were ignored by staff, and nothing was done to satisfy either issue. This is not the normal service that we have received at other Wyndham, we frequently stay at when traveling. Terrible customer service, communication, and most of all, very unprofessional. We travel a great deal, and our “go-to-hotels” are the Wyndham as well as the Hilton, after this experience in Tampa, it will definitely be the Hilton next time in Tampa.

There was no hot water. When we called the front desk to tell them the attendant told us "we know there is no hot water" apparently they had not had any hot water for a day or so but did not bother to tell us when we checked in. So after going to an outdoor concert and not returning until the wee hours of the morning we had tk jump in the shower to FREEZING cold water. They could have at least warned us but nope, not a word until we found out the hard way by jumping in the shower at 3am. So very disappointed with this property. Then they informed us they could not refund our money or anything because we booked through expedia.

Employee on duty said he could move us but there was nothing he could do. We didn't want to be moved, we had an excellent location at the end of the hall. The overall convenience of the location and ease of check in, I would stay again. I think the hot water issue was there were so many people staying there and were using at the same time.

CHECK IN WAS EXTREMELY EASY. WE STAYED SO WE COULD WALK TO AMPITHEATHRE. (WE DID UBER THERE, BUT WE WALKED BACK TO HOTEL). VERY CLEAN.

Very helpful

2nd stay at this location. Super clean, friendly staff, beds blankets and pillows are so comfy! I will be back again. This is my go to when attending MidFlorida credit union concerts. They are very accommodating with check ins.

The only disappointment I had was they did not offer complimentary coffee in the lobby. Otherwise the stay was awesome.
