Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Fairgrounds Casino

The hotel is great but the ice machine in front of our room was beeping for hours during the night waking us up early on our vacation. I had to get up, get dressed to figure out where the sound was coming from and tell the front desk. The most important thing at a hotel should be a good night sleep. Just very disappointing.

The room had food stains on the sheets, like pieces of food stuck to it and I didn’t notice until 1am. I told the front desk and the lady told me luckily it wasn’t something else, which is funny but at the same time no help. There was hair on the towels, the bed was harder than a normal Hampton inn bed, and there was grime in the shower. Honestly, I don’t know where the 9.2 Stars in reviews come from and the 3.5 Hotel rating. I’ve worked for hotels and this is not the standard. Felt like a motel.

Location is a bit off the beaten path, but the hotel is clean and it was nice to be away from the craziness of downtown. The beds, while this is a personal preference, were not comfortable at all. Made my back flare up after just one night. Besides that, everything else was fine.

I left shoes and they wanted $35-$90 to ship them back. Finally had someone in the area who could stop by so I called and they threw them away.

Woman who checked us in at the front t desk was terrific. Both shuttle drivers were very amiable. Shuttle to the casino was a very big part of our decision to stay at this property.

I checked in early and also took advantage of the free shuttle to Hard Rock Casino. Used a ride share app to return because it was after 6 PM. Had a surprisingly tasty breakfast before I left. Friendly staff.

I went there for my son’s birthday and before coming I looked at the previous reviews and you would think this property was amazing but that is NOT what I experienced. Upon my arrival I was not greeted not even a hello just “what’s the name?” Horrible customer service and I felt very unwanted. There was a huge roach in my room. The walls had what looked like nose burgers flicked all over the walls the fridge didn't work, and the sheets smelled and looked like they hadn't been changed in a long time. Overall the room was dirty and unacceptable.

Property is located across the street from the fairgrounds making walking to Midflorida Credit Union Ampitheater easy. Was in town for the night. Very nice hotel

The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was amazing. Very kind and made our stay great! The breast was fine. It is what you expect for a hotel buffet breakfast.

This hotel was great. The staff is super friendly. The free breakfast was superb. Fresh scrambled eggs with kielbasa sausage and strawberry and vanilla waffle batter for your make your own waffles. They even had blueberry syrup. Wow. It was fantastic.

The property was very well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The casino is only minutes away, the breakfast buffet was great!! I definitely will be back again!!!

The hotel is so fun, and beautiful. The staff is friendly except for one lady on our last day of check out was kind of rude. Otherwise, everyone was so nice. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The breakfast lady was very nice and attentive. The pool was clean, room and all areas clean. Will definitely come back.
