Holiday Inn Tampa North by IHG

It doesn't have as many bells and whistles and isn't as well maintained as Hotel Haya or Palihouse, but it provides a clean comfortable stay a hop skip and a jump from the USF campus. There was one weight machine, maybe two, no honey or brown sugar for the teas, the hook on the wall wasn't secured with both screws needed to do so, and a corner of the bathroom door looked worn.

Rooms clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice property, right across from my daughter's school USF. My room was clean, I love that there wasn't carpet in the room.

Very nice property. Love that there's no carpet in rooms. Nicely appointed rooms and great location for visits to Moffitt Cancer Center. Very friendly staff and decent breakfast.

Great stay, friendly and very helpful staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds and decent size bathroom. Definitely will recommend. Only down side is that you get charge $10. Per night for parking

When we walked in the lobby, it was clean and welcoming. Our room was very nice and clean. We were on the first floor so we heard the people above us but overall the room was comfortable. The pool area was nice as well. My son really enjoyed it The hotel was also super close to Busch Gardens!

Hard to find a parking space at night. Parking spaces blocked with no reason. I did’n see nobody working on it.

Beware. I booked the king suite that has the stove a dining room and they gave me a reg king room. Then tired to convince me that was what I booked until I proved them wrong.long story short they claim they didn’t have any more suits available. The only accommodation I was given was two king rooms that connected but I still didn’t have the kitchen and dining area I needed. Waste of money.

I will stay here again for my next trip.

Perfect, new and clean. Only thing… TV turned on at 4am and woke us up. (Stayed at la Quinta some months ago, same price and really bad) so if you need a hotel in the area, this is a very recommended option!

Besides that all good. 3/5 all together.

Our room was located on the third floor near construction, and during the day the construction noise was loud and we were not told in advance that this was taking place. Our bathroom was disgusting. It was dirty, there was hair and dirt all over the floor, hair in and around the bathtub. There were red spotted stains on the bottom of shower curtain that looked like blood stains. Around one of the beds there was garbage on the floor that looked like the room had not even been cleaned. It was disgusting. We were there for my son’s college orientation and did not even feel comfortable enough to use the shower. In addition, we went to a Rays game the night of our stay and came back to the entire 3rd floor smelling like marijuana. That too, was disgusting. I’m very disappointed, I read the reviews prior to booking the room and it showed this hotel is being exceptional. In my opinion, it was far from that. I would say the only positive was the hotel staff. They were nice and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and offered a small discount for this room after I explained to the condition it was in. Although in my opinion, we should not have paid a cent for it. I would not go back there and I would definitely not refer anyone to stay there.
