Sabal Palms Inn

Great old Florida, family run property. The rooms are renovated and very clean. We stayed in #5. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. The second room with a kitchenette and pullout couch area is a little small if 2 more are staying in there also but it’s very functional. The room is Ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 adult and 1 child/2 small children. We loved the little pool and direct access to the beach across the street. I also loved the free parking, which applies throughout pass-a-grille, not just at the hotel.

Unreal Location to the beach in such a lovely chill town. The beach chairs and towels were very nice to use at the beach. We will be back!

We had an amazing time at Sabal Palms. It’s conveniently located just steps from the water. So close that if we had to use the bathroom…we would just walk back to our room. It’s great that they had parking and are able to park anywhere at Pass-A-Grille by your license plate. Highly recommend!

Homeyness, location and puppy friendly Nothing

Great location in quiet Pass-a-Grille. Easy to walk to the beach or restaurants nearby, and they offer complimentary bicycles.

The location and staff are great Beware of booking a “ground floor”room. These rooms are actually below ground with windows at ground level, looking up into bushes, like a basement. When I complained, SB explained these rooms are branded as “shorty suites,” as if anyone would know what that meant, and that’s why they’re at “a lower price point.” they offered to switch us to another property location, which I appreciated, but at that point, we didn’t want to pack everything up and move for such a short stay.

Awesome staff, very generous with the beach gear and bikes available to borrow. Location was perfect! There was very little we didn’t like! Maybe the only thing was that the air conditioner was a bit loud.

Location can not be beat. A palmetto bug ran across the bathroom floor that was so big at first I thought it was a mouse.

Location People above stomping at all hours of night

Great location, steps to the beach. Access to beach chairs, umbrellas and beach cruiser bikes! Low ceilings in the 1st floor units . Could hear guests in 2nd floor units walking above us. Less natural light in the lower level units

Hotel. Com did a lousy job not letting me know where to get the keys to our room

Things not so top notch- bath towels- hand towels- washcloths dingy white and warn out. These really should be replaced. After first two days, washcloths were not replaced with fresh towels.(nit picky I know.) Some of the walls had stain marks - could use a Mr Clean sponge. The pictures in the bathroom had a film of old dust - not wiped down as a part of bathroom cleaning. There was dirt behind the bathroom faucet- stayed there the entire trip. A bit more attention to detail in cleaning would go a long way.

The beach was across the street, wish we could stay longer.
