Homewood Suites by Hilton Cleveland-Solon

The internet and tv was out during my entire stay which was a huge inconvenience as I needed the WiFi for work and the convenience of a working television.

Check in is at 3pm. I arrived at 230pm to check in but had to wait until 345pm.

I just wish the pool was heated. The pool was too cold but anything else everything was nice.

The staff was wonderful. Because of our late check in we did not bother the staff with the bed and found sheets in the closet.

Staff at front desk. Helpful with technology and extremely kind to us. No gluten free bread, cereal, or pastries. No cleaning or maid service during my entire stay.

Wifi was useless. It would come off and on. And breakfast was very spartan; never seen use a bare selection before at a Hilton property.

Staff were friendly. Overall stay was decent.

Over all was a great place the bathroom just wasnt the cleanest there was black hairs all over the floor and the shower and toilet had orange spatter on it. Room was a little noisy to.

It was very peaceful I will stay any time I visit my family in Solon Ohio

The overall stay was nice! I loved the recently updated suite. I only wish that I knew that the pool was closed and they were doing construction starting around 8a every morning prior to me booking.

The best part was the always-friendly staff. That we couldn't stay longer!

Breakfast had lots of choices Our floor was newly renovated and our room was beautiful except the bathtub still needed to be refinished-not sure why that wasn't done with the rest of the remodel! Hotel is close to a few restaurants and easy to get to a major highway. The bad-this hotel is still under renovation so we were treated by noises from the construction going on in the floor below us-even on a Saturday they were working! I get it that they need to get the construction done but working on a Saturday AM at 7 was not ideal. It was also tough to try to nap in the middle of the afternoon with the banging!!! Workout room had a spin bike that had a seat that was wobbly and one treadmill didn't work-no towels in the workout room. Pool was not open due to the construction. I would stay there again....once the construction was done!!!

The property is undergoing renovations. 3 things in our room weren't up to standards: 1) I had to call maintenance to re-set the thermostat. Even when he did and we came back from dinner, the room was still 78 degrees. Thank God there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom! 2) The coffee maker doesn't work and I'm a caffeine addict. 3) The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty.

The room was fine, but there were some key parts of the booking that were pretty upsetting. The pool was closed, which is one of the main reasons I booked this hotel (this was my son's birthday weekend- I specifically look for a pool for him to swim in). A good portion of the hotel (not just the pool) was getting worked on. Sunday morning, there was extremely loud banging from the workers before 8:30 am, which woke up my fiance. Also, Expedia was correct about the $50 charge for bringing our dog, but there was also a "non-refundable pet cleaning fee" for $150 that I was not expecting. This was a disappointing stay

Currently undergoing renovations but it is being completed very professionally and does not inconvenience the guests. Staff is great and very courteous!!

This location was beautiful, staff pleasant, the hotel had all you need when you are away from home. Clean and smell good. I look forward to returning.
