Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic Dist/Riverfront

The hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Service was consistently excellent, from check-in to breakfast to checkout. The rooftop pool and bar area were fantastic amenities and offered beautiful views of the city and riverfront. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t fully cooperate during our visit, and intermittent rain limited how much we were able to enjoy them, but we still made it upstairs several times and could easily see how great the experience would be on a sunny evening. Breakfast was outstanding with excellent service and a great selection of options each morning. It was one of the better hotel continental breakfast experiences we’ve had in quite some time. The location is hard to beat. Being directly along the river and within walking distance of River Street and the Historic District made exploring Savannah incredibly easy. If a riverfront room is available, it’s absolutely worth considering. The only thing you should be aware of is parking cost. Self-parking across the street was $40 per night and valet was $50 plus tip. It certainly wasn’t enough to impact our rating or experience, but it is worth factoring into your budget when comparing hotel options. Overall, this was an outstanding stay in an outstanding location, and we’d happily return.

Upon arrival - they offered their self parking ($40) or valet ($50) choice. Entering to check in, was very clean, was greeted with a smile and a “Welcome” “Enjoy your stay” etc - check -in was a breeze, rooms were comfortable and clean. Pool and RTB was perfect for grabbing a bite to eat while cooling off. Hot breakfast (with lots to choose from) was nice as well as the staff serving and cleaning up. My children (ages 10 & 7) even complimented on how nice everyone was. One even said “welcome back” as we were coming in from walking the riverwalk and going out to dinner. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The bartenders, the view from the roof, the breakfast attendants. The texting thing they did..never responded. Said they would try to accommodate for our anniversary, didnt do that.

They don’t do housekeeping daily. Extra charges for the parking and no flexibility with time for late check outs.

Parking and Valet is between $40to $60 a day which is outrageous if you pay for hotel you should be able to park free

The breakfast was delicious, the hotel was so clean, and I love the room and the roof top vibe.

Great hotel right on river walk! The rooftop bar and pool is amazing, however the food is at bar is bland and the pool failed a health inspection on one of the days and was shut down. Our room had mildew smell. However staff was very helpful.

Beautiful and great location on the river. The bed was the worse bed I have ever slept on in my life.

The location is wonderful! The queen bed in the suite was just too small and the linens on the bed were not comfortable.
