This is a nice hotel. Well maintained, good rooms, etc. When we checked in, there was a sign suggesting that the staff is learning a new software and to be patient. I appreciated the transparency, but there were some major issues during the check in process. We arrived on the early side, and were told someone would call us after 1PM when our room was ready (never happened). We found out after standard check in time that our room with a balcony was oversold so they would put us somewhere else. They gave us a suite with no view, which was an ok compromise - and agreed to comp breakfast due to their mishap. We agreed and said sounds good. We had to follow up multiple times for a pack-n-play requested ahead of time. We got our final bill and the comped breakfast was never applied. Finally, I want to point out something for Expedia gold members... the staff does not honor the "20% off food and drink perk" that is promised when you book though Expedia - so be prepared. Not the first time I've been to a hotel booked through Expedia where this happened. For the price point, I expected much better service.

The hotel was in excellent shape. Everyone was helpful. However, the housekeeping was not good at all. We were told they would clean our room every other day. The person came to our room late on the second day and wanted to clean it then. We said no and for them to come back tomorrow. They did not. Then they came on the third day and we said yes for them to come but they never did come. We then asked for some towels to be brought to the room because by that time it was ridiculous for them to come. The towels never came. I would not stay here again.

Perfect location on River Street and close to the historic areas. Very nice hotel. No onsite parking, but has valet service. Everything is walkable

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Upon arrival the valet service was great, very pleasant, and helpful. Cons:There was a small issue at check in due to a new system they were using, check in took over 45 mins. The room was clean and spacious, but the view of the AC units wasn't pleasant along with the in room AC unit was extremely noisy. The refrigerator in room was useful but it was noisy also. We had to request towels everyday multiple times due to whoever was at the front desk said they took down our request and room number but hours later, no towels. We had to go down to the front desk multiple times due to the phone in the room when calling the front desk was always busy. Our room was never cleaned even after requesting. Pros: This hotel is perfectly located on River Street and the rooftop bar restaurant was phenomenal with beautiful views of the Savannah River.

The hotel was beautiful and convenient to talk down a street to a lot of restaurants and ferry rides. The property didn’t have no pool nor did it have a microwave on site to warm food up. Parking was a little ways to walk at the corner if you didn’t do valet parking and that’s was $50/night & self park was $40/night

The front desk team was very helpful making for an overall great customer service experience. The hotel rooms were very beautiful and relaxing. 10 out 10.

Great location, great hotel! Staff was amazing

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

**The hotel was very nice, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is about the breakfast buffet. For the price they charge, there should be a much larger selection. Paying nearly $50 for two people to have what was essentially a continental breakfast—even in Savannah—seems excessive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the breakfast was definitely not worth the cost.⭐⭐⭐⭐

From arrival to departure, everything was superb. Top notch customer service, very inviting atmosphere, clean and modern rooms, and a very elegant breakfast with river front views.

While the location was great. Easy to walk to for most of our dinner and breakfast locations that we chose. We had to ask to get our room cleaned. Which was odd, as we left early each morning (8am) and came back well after 3pm. Not sure if it’s because I travel with a Service Dog? However that shouldn’t really make a difference. We had to ask the front desk staff to have them clean the room. There was no soap left in the shower dispenser and they didn’t refill it. So they obviously didn’t check it. Since they only cleaned the room once , during our 4 night stay. I didn’t bother to get it refilled. As it seemed like a lost cause. The hotel has a great rooftop bar. So if you plan on staying here and you rent a car to get around plan ahead for retrieving your vehicle. As there can be a wait time. With events or people going on/in to the hotel. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our first meal at Lilac and had drinks our last night there as well. As I stated aside from the housekeeping staff we had a good time.

Loved the location. The staff outstanding. They were attentive and every time we asked for something they came through! The room had a partial view of the river (there was a wall covering part of it). We were not enamored with the frosted glass walls in the toilet/shower area. We would have preferred a real wall. Our room wasn’t cleaned every day. In fact, I don’t know if cleaning means changing the towels and making the bed only. I know our room wasn’t not vacuumed at all. I took a photo of the crumbs on the table and some littler on the carpet! Also, there was no room service. The young man in the front desk was kind enough to teach me how to use Uber eats !! Guess this hotel is for a younger crowd. Overall, we liked your hotel.

Great views of the river front Rooms were clean Walkable to restaurants and shopping

The AC didn’t work so I spent two hours the first night with maintenance in my room. They were very kind and fixed the problem but still not ideal. There was a light in my room that would not turn off. It was one of those that turns on when you turn all the main lights off. It illuminated the head of the bed making it very hard to sleep. My “atrium view” was a view of 13 AC units right outside of my window. I waited over 30 minutes to get my car from valet to leave on checkout day.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

We loved loved loved the location and view. However, was not too excited about only having our room cleaned and attended too one time , while staying Wednesday till Sunday. Also, the drinking water, lotion and hand soap never got replenished on the day of cleaning service. Staff was very helpful at the front desk and the breakfast view was amazing

  • Engine customer May 2026

Room was clean no soap in the shower and no room service had to ask twice before they came to make up the room

    Wonderful restaurant and breakfast!
