Friendly staff, very accommodating. Comfortable bed. Very unique place to stay-this was our 6th visit!
-
The location is great and super close to union square, but I wouldn’t have minded to pay a bit more for a farther but nicer hotel.
-
The building was really charming what I didn’t like was the elevator it took forever to use in terms of how long I had to wait until it got to whatever floor I was on
-
Great location and helpful staff.

Water bottle in the room would go a long way ;)

clean room and bathroom; small elevator so if you’re claustrophobic this is not the right place for you unless you’re ok using the spiral stairs; pastries and coffee/tea/hot choco in AM are great; lobby is very cozy, lots of sitting areas to choose from; they have a pool table and set and I enjoyed playing billiards before bedtime; location is good, there’s a 24H cafe next to the hotel; and last, staff. the night staff was very nice and friendly. two AM male staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. the other two, they did their job, “ID, credit card, here’s your key card” only. It’s true that you don’t need to be friends with everyone but if you work in the customer service, a happy aura can make a difference. you have personal problems? leave them at home. your customer has nothing to do with that. overall, I like your place.

What you would expect with a 3 star hotel. Great Location, older building, rooms carpet and walls, a little tired, small bathroom. Great people.

The hotel is old but well maintained.

This is a vintage hotel in downtown San Francisco within walking distance of many attractions. The rooms are small, but very quaint and stylish. Everything is clean and nice and British themed. There are more than one passing garage within a block, and a liquor store on every block. The staff are helpful and friendly. My one complaint is that the elevator is old and small, and trying to leave with a luggage cart on Sunday at 11:00, I was worried I might be trapped on the fifth floor forever. Very nice rooms and a fun place to stay.

Great staff and location. The rooms are clean and tidy but the decor is over due for a refresh.

the room was clean and staff were very courteous

I love my stay at King George Hotel. Great location and very nice staff. iIt is very close to Union Square and Powell Street. It is very easy to arrive at the hotel from the airport.
-
no ac, no fridge, no closet. I think they could have used their space much more efficiently. The staff were nice, and friendly.

The staff is very friendly and we really enjoyed staying with the hotel! I will stay again 👍

It was exceptional stay ! The location was great and the staff was helpful and super accommodating, Julian specifically helped us with last minute extra day stay. He helped us keep the same room without having to check out and get a whole new room until 4pm the next day. All staff were very friendly and greeted us every morning. Staying here was great at an affordable price. Me and my wife will be back here every single time we come back to the city !

We had an exceptional time at the king George! It was one of the best days we have had at a really good price. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, Julian specifically was very helpful when we had a question about our last minute check in ( it was a sudden change in plans) and he helped us keep the same room we were in without having to wait until 4pm the next day! It was an amazing experience, the location was great and I would stay here again when I come back to the city !

We had a great stay! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the hotel was quiet and safe.

Multi-level public pay car parking is available across the street and is reasonably priced for the area ($38 for 24 hours) The included light breakfast (muffins, pastries and croissants with coffee and tea) was a nice touch to get us started in the morning.
