Love this hotel. Perfect location

We have stayed at various hotels in SF, but always come back to this Hyatt. It is in the perfect location, easy to access, the front door staff even take a moment to talk to us when they can. The breakfast went up in price since last year but it has plenty of food available for any taste bud. We had a beautiful city view and really enjoyed the room.

Great location in Union Square, staff friendly, clean room, and one of my favorite places to stay in the city.

When we arrived, our reservation wasn't ready due to issues between the hotel and Expedia. The staff offered little assistance and essentially told us to figure it out ourselves. After spending over an hour trying to resolve the situation on our own, we were finally checked in only to be given the wrong room. We had paid for a room with two double beds but were assigned a room with only one bed. Since there were four of us, we had to go back downstairs and spend even more time trying to get the room situation corrected. To make matters worse, valet was unable to locate our car when we needed it the next morning.We had planned several activities for the day, but ended up having to cancel them because we were dealing with the reservation, room, and valet issues. Overall, the experience was frustrating, stressful, and far from what we expected. I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel, a little aged. Location is good, but the area around Union Square is still a mess. The bar is a sad thing and breakfast for one person runs around $45 (and the quality was meh). Second time there and will probably go back, but they could do better.

Love the fitness center amenities, the art in the lobby, staff friendliest and accommodation. Cost of overnight parking/valet.

The staff were very welcoming and made checking in fast and easy. Most shop and sightseeing attractions were close distance from the hotel.
