Bathtub faucet was funky,,, had to turn to click, felt like was breaking.. only 1/2 times of use found the postion that brought hot water. Breakfast was awesome, staff friendly.

This place is great. The staff was very helpful. Kids loved the waffle maker.

The pool was small but still fun for my kids. The included parking and continental breakfast was an added bonus. The staff were helpful and kind. The location was central to all the wonderful attractions that San Diego has to offer.

We were looking for a place close to the airport for a one-night stay and this worked well! Our room faced the road and were a little concerned that there would be road noise but were pleasantly surprised that this wasn't an issue for us. Staff were super friendly, loved that parking was free, and the breakfast was a nice plus. The room was clean and had some nice updates. The only drawback we noted was that the sheets were a little scratchy. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay and it was a great value!

The hotel was not for my family and me. I looked at pictures and reviews, before booking but in actuality, the hotel was extremely underwhelming, to the point of being fake advertising. The room was not clean, and there was no phone in the room to contact the front desk. Towels were dingy and beyond time to re-up didn't eat the free breakfast and the air conditioning circulated a damp musty air in the room. Book at your own risk but don't say that you have not been warned.

Convenient MTS bus stop within 3 minute walking distance. But last bus is at 8.30 from old town transit center. So if arriving late, driving your own car, rideshare or taxi are the only options. It’s a motel style single room not much shelf space for putting luggage. Cleanliness is fair and fine for a solo business traveler on budget. It would help if Hotel could put in place a free hourly shuttle to old town transit center. For Uber app- address of the hotel will not pull up the correct name. Still shows previous name of the property. So can be confusing for some new visitors.

The Ac worked great. Breakfast had a lot of options, but they stopped bringing food out before 9am. Pool was clean. Parking was a plus.

My bedspread had dried noodles from a previous guest stuck to it. There were fruit flies in our room. There was no blow dryer in the room

Great area and hotel. Got an early check-in. Clean room. Friendly staff. Free parking. Near Trolley which took us to Petco Park.

Room was close to elevator which was really noisy each time it was operated, that room should had been a storage not a guest room. Bath extractor fan needed to be replace, too noisy and the A/C unit stopped running before it reached the desired temperature. TV was not operational because it kept looking for a wifi connection.

Even though I stayed only one night, I enjoyed my stayed. The room was clean and it had everything I needed. It smell good and was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked wonderful. The staff was helpful with my questions.

We had to be shown how to open the room a certain way.

The room was clean and just okay. The one elevator was slow and small. There was not enough seating for breakfast crowd. There was a tripping hazard in walkway that was brought to staff's attention, nothing immediate was done. The AC unit worked well but wasn't controlled very well with thermostat...had to keep playing with thermostat. Parking was lacking for all guests. They were out of some toiletries in the room. There were not enough towels in room for standard guests, we had to ask desk and they were cheap and thin. Overall, it was just okay but not worth the $183 paid.

Upon arrival and checking in staff was great but when we got to our room there were no towels to shower had to call front desk and the phone in the room wasn’t working properly! Also there was not enough parking for the guest!

The hotel is in a great location. It’s remodeled somewhat, but it is definitely showing its age. Can’t beat the price or the location. The complementary continental breakfast was better than expected: waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereals, juices and coffee. Didn’t sleep that great because of the freeway and apparently there’s an animal sanctuary behind the hotel and heard birds all night long. Would stay again because of the convenience but bring earplugs.
