Riverwalk Plaza

I don’t like the fact that valet is $50 and they don’t assist you with bags or even open or close doors. They simply hand you keys. I understand that parking is a challenge in the city due to how the city was built but courtesy is a choice.

Great location for walking to main city attractions (Alamo, Riverwalk, market square).

First of all when we got there, the room door was open and then the shower did not have a curtain and all the water was on the floor when we were taking a shower I have a broken wrist. I was afraid that I was gonna slip and hurt myself. The little shelf that was inside the shower was broken for the money that I paid I thought I was gonna get a better thing. They don’t have no microwaves

Our room was missing furniture (chairs) chipped wall where the chair would have been. Light above the headboard didn’t not work. These are not essential, but really take away from the aesthetics. I would go again, just for the service. Not for the place.

The cleanliness of the property was terrible. Upon entering our room we found food crumbs on the floor. The floor was not vacuumed. The rug was full of stains and the bedding had stains as well. There was a used tampon applicator behind the door. It looked like there was dried blood on the floor. The tub was dirty. The hallway was just as dirty. There was debris everywhere. We chose not to stay and left the property.

The front desk was so sweet and the valets were so helpful! They brought my son some neccesities for his munchies in the evening and were so kind to him he felt so grown up!

Quick and easy to check in and the room was clean and fresh check out was nice and easy. This was a great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown and on the riverwalk absolutely perfect location.

During our week there, it was very hot and humid, and sadly the pool water looked a little cloudy. It was not very inviting. The restaurant and coffee shop on the property were good. We attended an event at the convention center, and it was a pleasant walk via the street or the riverwalk.

We asked if the room has a microwave, they said no but would be available upon request, which we did but one was never brought over. Pillows not as comfortable tbh.

Service

Pool was cloudy, could not see the bottom. US and Texas flags were in deplorable condition, but staff promised to get them changed. I won't go back unless they are. Rooms are in need of a refresh, but were clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

I was disappointed with my stay. The valet staff was rude, our trash was never taken out even after we hung the make-up room sign on the door, and the room had maintenance issues—the lock and security chain both fell off. We were also not provided enough towels, and I was charged the wrong amount at checkout. The restaurant did not have a lot of the menu items either. Overall, the service and condition of the room did not meet expectations.
