Candlewood Suites Richmond - West Broad by IHG

Our stay was okay. I feel like the room could have been cleaner. There was stuff on the walls and the room had a kitchenette. There was a bit of smell coming from the sink. Overall, the stay wasn’t bad but it was definitely not as clean as I would have liked.

The hotel is average on cleanliness. The room is better clean. However, rustic parts are in the kitchen as well as unclean cups. The staff is unhelpful when asking for a minor change. There is a stray or owned German shepherd wandering around the property.

The beds were very comfortable, room was also. I found place very quiet and comfortable.

Another thing is the parking fee....why is there one? Why isn't there free parking for your guests?

The bed was comfortable Everything else. The lobby smelled like they smoked in there and tried to cover the scent with air freshener. The rooms and furniture are outdated. The staff was rude. I asked for extra towels and the guy at the desk gave me one. When I said there was 4 people in my room he gave me one more and said that was all he could give me. I asked for an extra blanket and he told me it would be sent to my room. 45 minutes later I called to check on the blanket and he says I put it in but they never came to bring it. You can walk down to the front desk and get it because I can’t bring it. Worst customer service ever!! I WILL NOT BE STAYING AT THAT OR ANY OTHER CANDELWOOD SUITES AGAIN. DEFINITELY DO MOT RECOMMEND 1/10

We had a great stay

Th3 kitchenette and bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly. Tired. The furniture was frayed and stained. Cooking pans were burnt and unusable.

I had a very good experience here. Only stayed one night. The property is a bit dated, but overall was clean and well maintained. When I first checked in, the room I was given had a nonfunctional television. However, the lovely gentleman at the front desk quickly addressed the issue & ultimately gave me a different room. It’s not fancy, but the room was comfortable, clean and very spacious. Very convenient location as well.
