Americas Best Value Inn Richmond South

The hotel had a good price. The check-in seemed almost police-like. Lots of rules, lots of things to sign, and a mug shot taken. My room was newly renovated, which was nice. But the floor was dirty (not visibly so, but I picked up a lot of dirt walking around barefoot). The bed was not new and only moderately comfortable. Breakfast was skimpy.

Only thing I wasn't aware of was the $100 deposit apoun arrival which is not listed on the hotels.com site for the property...

Room had Roaches and dirty

Not so great... Roaches and Roach traps all over the place. Bad internet. Roudy guests and lots of music and smoking outside. Made it work but not what I was hoping for.

Nothing How staff randomly knocks on your door at 12 AM mistaking you for another customer asking for money that you don’t owe refrigerator didn’t work room was switched three times when I finally did get my room they accuse me of breaking a mirror guys walking around naked without their clothes on not a child, friendly environment or family, friendly and they have bugs

Nothing! Infestation of bed bugs!

Not the ideal place to stay. Many of the people there are permanent residents because they are displayed. Mattresses were disgusting, the floors needed to be swept, found a roach in the room, and felt uncomfortable the entire stay. Did not have any outside electrical ports to charge anything. Parking was taken up by trailers that had destroyed cars on them.

Clean, excellent price. There was coffee in the morning which was good, but very little in the way of breakfast. Just plain bread and cold cereal.

These people charged me for a room I never stayed in after I decided to go to a different hotel. Then they refused to give my money back afterwards Horrible customer service

Very accessible. But the smell of cigarettes in the rooms is something unpleasant more for families with children. I think there should be exclusive rooms for families with children and smokers.
