The pool was a good size, but teeming with wild children and adults talking on cell phones. Hardly relaxing; we skipped it. The tenants above us created a lot of noise walking late at night and early in the morning -- I would have expected the building to be sturdier and therefore quieter than this. Certain amenities did not make sense to me. For example, there was microwavable food for sale in the lobby, but in our room there were no plates or utensils to use. We had a better experience at the Hilton Garden Inn (three miles south on I-5).

Stopped here as a solo female traveler with my dog. Super comfy room, helpful staff, clean. Enjoyed my stay and has been one of my favorite hotel stops on my road trip!

This is the only hotel I stay at when I go to Redding for work. The rooms are clean and the continental breakfast is a great amenity. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

It was a great experience staying in this facility. Special mention of appreciation goes to the bar tender. She was amazing, patient and helpful to people.

The upgrades over the last 3 years since we previously stayed at this hotel are wonderful. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was excellent!!!

This was an oasis for the family after spending time in the heat exploring Mount Shasta and neighboring outdoor activities. The room was huge, modern, had a living room, 2 TV's, shower was amazing with the water coming out strong, and the free hot breakfast was the cherry on top. The breakfast ladies were warm and friendly. The pool would have been nice but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Will stay here again for sure.

We were on the 2nd floor with a floor above us and the ceiling creaked and thumped very loudly any time anyone above walked around. I understand that some noise from the upper floor is inevitable in any hotel. However, in Oxford's case, the noise was far, far above normal. If you ever stay at Oxford, I would always demand the top floor unit.

I had a good time here. It felt safe to park in their lot. The front desk staff was nice. Room and bed were above my expectations. Breakfast was chaotic and not as great as other reviews lead me to believe. Overall my experience was positive and I would choose to stay here again.

The included breakfast was pretty good. The hotel’s team was amazing and really helpful. I will definitely go back to this hotel again.

Ants coming out of the wall, extremly loud above us and outside our window. Unhelpful staff, they wanted to spray in the room when we could not open a window. Checked out before our stay was over because we could not deal with the ants everywhere. No mamagement available to give a refund,

First hotel room fridge that actually froze our water bottles. Yeah!

We used Redding as our base to see Lassen and Shasta County. Nice to have breakfast, but definitely an older hotel. Wifi is terrible if you are trying to work or if that is important to you, Good location and close to everything. Hotel is older, so it could use some work.
-
Nice location to move around and nice amenities overall. Breakfast was super and was included. Lot of crowd during that long weekend. Utensils weren’t cleaned at all. We had to wipe everything before using. Rooms weren’t cleaned too. We could see M and Ms spilled by previously stayed guests. Microwave had leftover pizza crumbs too. Bathroom doors couldn’t be locked. Not a good value for your $230 per night I must say.
