Visiting the Austin area was fun, but our stay at the Plantation house Inn was definitely the highlight. From the amazing host and her delicious breakfast to the gorgeous surroundings and perfect amenities, you will want to come back again and again, if only to visit Luey and Norris!! Not only did we have a very well appointed room and amazing breakfast each morning, but we learned all about the local cowboy culture, and my son even purchased his first authentic cowboy hat. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Best decision of our trip to stay here!!

They thought of everything that a traveler may need. We can’t wait to stay at The Plantation House the next time we are in the Austin area.

Beautiful property. Excellent interior design and exterior grounds. Exceptional bed and bathroom. Breakfast was prepared when requested, like a nice restaurant. The food was made from "scratch" and very good. The Hostess and Host were cordial and competent. An overall "First Class" experience.

Too many pillows in the room.

I loved the old time Southern Hospitality. The rooms were quiet and comfortable with plenty of room to roam around on the property. I was treated so special at breakfast, custom made to order and different every morning.

it was a little lonely

Luey and Norris (aka the Cowboy Innkeeper) are so sweet and charming. We felt right at home. Having Luey making breakfast while talking and laughing was so heartwarming and the food was incredible. The room we had was wonderful and unbelievably clean. We will be back for sure!

Style, comfort, unique building, in its own grounds. Lovely pool area with all the usual features. Our room was beautiful decorated, which had two bedrooms adjoined by a lovely bathroom with complementary shower gel to bath salts. Louey & Morris are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast we had was excellent first time any of us had had German pancakes, freshly made while Louey chatted away from the kitchen. The next time we are in the Austin area we will definitely be staying at their wonderful home. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. Keith, Carole, Lydia and Jack

Beautiful place, beautiful host, everything was great

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Every detail was thought of — from the cozy furnishings to the little extras that made it feel like home. The location was perfect, and communication with the host was easy and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and staff were friendly. I booked this day for a treat for my daughter and her new husband and it was perfect. She came back with stories of how the sweet staff and other guest (celebrating their anniversary) shared experiences and kind marriage advice over breakfast that really made their stay very special, especially starting out on their new journey together as a married couple. She loved the facilities in her room and said it was very beautiful and memorable. Nothing was not liked.

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, Luey and her husband made us feel completely at home. They are the kindest, most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met, and their beautiful inn is truly a gem. The house is spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by gorgeous gardens—it felt like an oasis. We slept better than we have in ages, completely recharged, and woke up to the most delicious breakfast we’ve ever had, personally prepared by Luey herself. Everything was so thoughtful and full of charm. Honestly, this is the best place we’ve ever stayed, and we left wishing we could stay forever. Our personal recommendation—book at least three nights to truly soak in the beauty, charm, and atmosphere. If you’re in Austin, staying here is an absolute must—it’s an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime!

Great service

Plantation House is an excellent bed and breakfast. Luey and Norris are very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great. Snacks available. Very clean and quiet. Beds comfortable. Great location. 5 stars in every way.

This was a beautiful property with easy access to the center of Austin and the host were extremely wonderful. I’m definitely gonna stay there again and bring Friends .

This was just the most amazing 6 days I could ask for. The owners Luey and Norris are such nice and welcoming people. Every morning Luey makes sure you get a different kind of breakfast. You can never get enough, it’s just so delicious. And they do everything they can to make sure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. The beautiful house is about 20-25 minutes from Downtown Austin, but for me it was perfect. This way you can have a quiet, relaxing stay and even watch the stars at night. The rooms were amazingly decorated and super clean. And even if you would come short of anything, you can always ask the owners (extra towels, snacks,…) I had such a pleasant stay, I’m even planning on coming back in a few weeks. It’s the perfect place to begin and end your Texas vacation Nothing! It was more than perfect
