Perdido Beach Resort

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful time for our girls getaway. The staff was so gracious and accommodating. The room was very clean, the pool area was inviting and the beach chair staff was very helpful. Definitely will return!

Unfortunately I wouldn't reccomend this hotel or go back to it. I did my research and took others reviews before I booked it. To start our room was not ready when we arrived and that was at 6pm, check in starts at 4pm. Next we were told they would call us when the room was ready, at 8pm we still didn't hear and went back to hotel and thats when we found out it was ready. Once we made it to the room we couldn't believe what they gave us. A room full of MOLD (I have pictures for proof), on the ceiling, walls, etc. This room has been growing mold for a while. We got everyone out. By the time they got us another room it was about midnight. The outside pool does not work, the jets doe not move the water- they do not work, skimmers not working, absolutely gross. They got rid of the indoor pool. The pool chairs & tables are moldy & old. Depending on your length of stay, you have request replacement bathroom towels, trash can liners, etc. Rooms are not sound proof to an extent, you can hear everyone around you, really thin walls. The wall outlets were not properly covered or didn't even work. The bathroom does not have a ventilation fan, so be ready to sweat after a shower. Overall this was not a good choice or experience for our family and this is supposed to be a Marriott hotel. This is my honest review.

Pizza and ice cream shop was under construction still and coffee shop employees were extremely rude both times we visited- but, other than that this place is absolutely perfect! Beautiful, well maintained, and fantastic staff. We loved the beach view from our room, and the private beach was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for on this vacation (includes free chairs and umbrellas!) Would absolutely stay here again!

This was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at! I loved the complimentary towels! They also had a walkway nearly all the way to the water, which is so helpful for someone with back problems! Speaking of back problems, hotel mattresses are usually terrible for my back, but these were excellent! Highly recommend this hotel!

It was a wonderful stay..only complaint i have, is i tried to call about getting my deposit back and was told they had no record of me staying. I never received my deposit back and they did not try to help me. They have my credit card where they took the deposit and my confirmation code from when i stayed but they still said they had not record of me staying. I would really like my deposit back but no one will help me

My balcony view Ac wasnt as cool

Check in was very easy and smooth. The room was a great size and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We brought our 3 year old and he loved the toddler pool they had! They had activities for the kids daily that were fun! We had 2 downfalls….the cleaning service…inconsistent on when they came one day it was 4pm another it was 11am and another was 5pm. We had to call them back every time besides 1 time (stayed 6nights). They never swept the floors…they always left sand all over the floors. The other down fall was the breakfast. We paid for breakfast for 2 and then when we got there they did not know what we were talking about that they don’t do prepaid breakfast before and they would figure it out later to “just charge it to your room and we will let you know if you have a credit or not.” Never heard back. We decided on just going to Walmart and getting some breakfast foods to eat ourself then paying there. It was very nice being straight on the beach and then providing beach chairs/umbrellas.

Convenience of location. We've been going to perdido beach resort for years and under the new management it no longer feels like family, but more of a franchise feel where all the staff were uptight due to managers lurking over their shoulders constantly.

Average room.no complaints

I loved having a white noise sound machine in the room.

Breakfast I thought was included, but wasn’t. Everything else was amazing!! It was perfect!

this was our first time here. it was a great place to stay. I only wish they had more food options on site. the pool side bar serves the same food as the inside dinning.
