Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orange Beach

I only stayed one night, however check in was easy and the stay was very comfortable. The rooms were quiet which surprised me considering it is peak season at the coast.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this facility. The pictures presented online convinced me to cancel room at Holiday Inn express and change to Fairfield Inn because of pictures of Cabanas at pool and hot tube. Both were disgusting filthy with gray dirty water and no cabanas for clients at pooI and this was reported to front desk and the receptionist took my information with complaint with my name and stated that the complaint was sent to Manager. She stated that she was not aware of the filithness although it is a small distance from front desk. My granddaughter got into the pool before i realized how unclean the water was and now has nausea with vomiting. HOW AWFUL !! Breakfast was ok with a variety of items. Room was expensive. I

The room was missing a remote and the batteries were dead in the only one in the room; the pull out mattress feels like you’re lying on a chain link fence and came with one flat pillow; had to ask for a 5th towel for a room that sleeps 6; asked for cleaning supplies to clean a sticky spill left over from prior guests and was told housekeeping would re-mop- sticky mess was still there and I cleaned the filthy floor with a bathroom towel; beds feel worn out with absolutely no padding or support; the pool had algae growing around the rim, grass in cement cracks around the pool and a railing that was completely unscrewed from the support post that overlooked a pond; room was FAR too expensive for what it was.

The rom was spacious and clean.

It was clean , staff was friendly, breakfast was good.

It’s not right on the beach but you do have access to walk across the street to go to a gated private beach so that was cool

This hotel is very clean,has free breakfast but no WiFi. If they had WiFi I’d rate it higher.

Location. Walking distance to the beach and 5 mile drive to the Wharf. The desk agent that checked us in wasn’t friendly snd took s long time. When we arrived, no greeting. I gave her my name and she said something about restarting the system. It seemed like we waited a long time. My husband finally asked what she was doing snd shortly after, she asked for I.D and checked us in. Same with checkout. There were multiple employees at the desk at checkout. Granted one of them was having a conversation with another guest, so I later d the keys dow beside them and left. I didn’t get the feeling we were appreciated or welcomed
