The Hotel Chelsea

Lovely hotel in Chelsea.

The staff was outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a pleasure to return to after a day of exploring New York City. One of the most unique and memorable aspects of the hotel is its incredible collection of artwork. Every floor is lined with fascinating pieces, making it feel as though you're strolling through an art gallery. We found ourselves stopping frequently to admire the artwork, which adds tremendously to the hotel's character and creative spirit. The location is excellent, with easy access to so many of the city's attractions, restaurants, and neighborhoods. We also loved the bar, which has a wonderful atmosphere and was one of the highlights of our visit. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.

Historic hotel that manages to keep the history, yet update the feel to modern expectations. Lots of details that you only get at a hotel from the 1880's without it feeling outdated, old or that at one point it was a beautiful place. Its clean, well kept and everything looks new... even though nobody has craftsmanship like this everywhere you look anymore. Little pricy... really that is the only downside, however its on line with or less than many surrounding areas. And you are right in the middle of Manhattan, so nothing is a bargain That said, I'd pay a little more again to stay there because it was so nice and comfortable

Great location and historical setting, lovely rooms and general hotel vibe with attentive staff. Teruko; despite a lovely setting and attentive staff this didn’t make up for the overpriced and underwhelming Japanese food.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, the room was spacious and it felt very old world bohemian. The service was excellent, and we thought the location was good too, central for transport. Nothing, everything was excellent!

Simply amazing. The most comfortable bed and sheets. Great complimentary coffee in the room The whole hotel is gorgeous and unique and feels truly special. Was moved to a room with a balcony which was incredible. True luxury. I cannot wait to come back.

The facilities and staff at the Hotel Chelsea were everything we were hoping for hoping to make the most of a rare vacation. The staff did everything they could to ensure our comfort & satisfaction. Highly recommend if your hotel is an important part of your vacation.

Hotel Chelsea is a wonderful place to stay in the Chelsea neighborhood with a rich history. William gave us a private tour of the property with great stories about it's past, including his personal experiences. We had a minor issue with the hot water which was promptly fixed. A fun, somewhat funky place and we will definitely be back.

Once again the hotel Chelsea was wonderful. The room was beautiful. The linens and towels were high quality. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We are all ready talking about when we will return next year.

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at and we have stayed at many many hotels in NYC over the last 20 years. Will definitely return as everything was fantastic including all the staff.
