Great location, very helpful hotel staff.

At first, I was kinda thrown off because I thought that the room was really small, but it actually grew on me after a day or so. Quaint and quirky is how I would describe the room. Really clean, and well maintained. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Only real complaint is that the elevator system is quite unorthodox. Otherwise, loved my stay here. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was terrific, but the bathroom had no DOOR. Very uncomfortable, even for a married couple. We told the front desk they apologized and that was it.

To start, yes the rooms are smaller. But, everyone is so helpful and everything is soooo clean! The staff really make you feel welcome

Really great, central location, only a couple of blocks from Penn Station which made it really easy to take the train to and from the airport (much much cheaper than a taxi!) Was also one of the cheapest hotels I could find in central Manhattan during the World Cup! The gym is quite small

This is my second time staying at Moxy, first at this location. The service was great but this time I was a bit disappointed that all the towels had stains and looked dirty. I would stay again, but would bring my own towel.

We liked it. I was a bit shocked at all small the room was, but I know that's part of the Moxy "Charm." But yeah, the room was bare bones and small. It ended up not bothering me. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. There are expensive bottles of water in the room. DON'T open them. Instead, go to the front county and they will give you free water.

The Moxy was perfect for the solo traveler!

Room were clean my shower door handle was loose and made noise when I closed it but staff was very helpful and kind including the lobby welcoming staff. I recommend moxy as a couple or even single because the moxy bar and legasea is always entertaining. I will definitely be going back. The only thing they are missing is a pool.

Bad

Great location and nice staff I booked it specifically so we could use the outdoor roof space only to be told on arrival that it was for over 21’s only. I was travelling with my two teenagers. There was another communal area but service was so slow that one night we just left. Room was small and smelled damp.
