Property all around was a 10/10!!

My fiance’ and I stayed the past weekend for his birthday and it was an unpleasant experience. We booked to the corner king size bed room but that wasn’t given to us when we arrived which ruined our whole experience. There’s was no explanation as to why the room wasn’t available for us or apology . The noise level from the occupants next to us was unbearable we could barely sleep. We reported it to the front deck but the noise went on for 2-3 hours, we got no rest at all. In my opinion the rooms are overpriced and definitely not worth it.

The Ambassador Club. Customer service is excellent. The Concierge goes out of his way to help.

Booked through Expedia..hotels must give subpar rooms to Expedia customers. Both rooms at two different hotels including this one, the AC was broken.

Beautiful hotel, check in & out was easy. The room was nice but very very dusty. Bedsheets had stains, one of the sides of the couch was broken. The smell in the bathroom was not pleasant, i guess because of the shower curtain? The $38 fee is ridiculous. Yes you can use it within the hotel but why not say that when booking the hotel? Overall, i guess it was okay.

When we first arrived, the room we were given was still dirty, but a different member of the staff accommodated us and put us in a different room. The second room that we were in was OK but severely lacking in design and comfort. It didn't really feel like we were in a hotel room more so just a room with a bed, window and a TV. Our room also had 2 fridges.. one was placed in a random corner by the tv. There was no wall art or anything that made the room feel cozy. Worst of all, we were woken up twice because you can hear the drop of a pen outside in the hallway. The party next to us was on the phone and I woke up thinking they were in our room because that's how easily you can hear all hallway traffic.. Lastly two out of three staff members (Brandon & Another man) were very nice and welcoming. But when it was time for us to check out, the person checking us out didn't even greet us or at least ask us how our stay was. Overall, I don't think we will be staying here again... was not very comfortable nor inviting.

Great location if you don't mind walking a bit. Good size room and good price for NYC. Our corner room was very nice but a little dated. The only issues were check in, line was long and room wasn't ready until almost 6pm. Manager did her best.

Perfect stay

It is, in fact, one of the worst hotels in the world in the so called 5-4 start category, literally, you can see here that I know about that, being a Platinum member. There is no way this hotel is a 5 start hotel. Not even 3. It is not clean. They do not have good closets. Food is terrible and overpriced. No room service. No business center or any printing facilities. They don’t give you water or any amenity, not a shower cap, or cotton buds. The coffee makers are the cheapest and worst quality that can possible exist. Most of the time they are broken. I have been staying there many times for necessity, location and work for the past 20 years. Several thousands dollars in expenses, but the last 12 days was my last time. Only because it is across the UN it is not worthy anymore to stay. It is clearly a hotel in decadence and needs a major overhaul and management change.
