You can not beat the location of Herald Square for NYC. The subway station is close, and even better, there is an extensive, full grocery story across the street (Jack's) as well as many Asian shops and restaurants around the corner. The street-side rooms are noisy, as expected, but that is part of the NYC experience. On our first night, we requested to be moved as our room did not have functional outlets in the bathroom and the fan did not work. The staff was prompt, helpful and apologetic. The only downside for us was no fridge or microwave. Breakfast was the typical Hilton breakfast. No frills, but options and a nice way to feel like you're saving money.

Nice overall. Staff and breakfast was great. Room looking a bit dated with pealing wallpaper. Only disappointment was the charger and outlet between beds did not work. But liked it enough I would stay again.

The property was old and outdated for the price. The breakfast was limited and gross. Our room was not even serviced the last day. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.
-
Ok hotel in heart of NYC but it was super loud outside and the hotel was older but still maintained. Breakfast is not great but just so so. Would still recommend it for the price and. Location.

The room had broken curtains, broken USB plugs and the bathroom desperately needed renovation. The room was not good. It was also expensive.

Overall decent experience!

Rooms to small, besides that location was excellent. Everything else excellent.

Great location, even if we were there during the NBA finals in NYC. Very close to Penn Station and the 6th ave subway. 3 blocks from the flower district. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was big by NY standards. Everything was clean and in working order. We had a good stay.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in New York. Everything was very clean and well organized, and the rooms were kept in great condition. The breakfast was also very good and enjoyable each morning. Overall, everything was normal and met my expectations. The only small downside is that the rooms are a bit small, but aside from that, everything was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again.

You get what you pay for and in this instance it was a good! The hotel was perfectly located within proximity to my destinations as well as other activity to do. Staff was very helpful. Hotel is on the older side but no biggie. Loved that the basic breakfast was free although space is it a bit small for diners. The only thing I wish was different was if we could've had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Definitely would book again.

Helpful staff & the room was clean with comfortable beds. Room was small but probably ok by Manhattan standards. Reasonable breakfast. Great location for central Manhattan & main transport hubs.

The location can't be beat - especially if arriving by train and/or planning to use the Subway. It's also incredibly walkable to many well-known tourist attractions. My stay was with all females and we felt very safe at this property.

Close by train station. Breakfast was as expected. Staff was nice. Rooms clean.

Location The breakfast was very good. Toilet did not work, even after they “fixed” it. Room was dark, only one bedside lamp. AC was way too loud inside, and room was facing 4 window air conditioners and 4 air compressors outside. They were loud, too. There was no place to put your suitcase.

Very good

Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish there were more gluten free options for breakfast.
