Four Points by Sheraton Mt Prospect O'Hare

When I asked for a room change, that did not happen. When I chose to leave early, they never bothered to work with me to either refund or give me Bonvoy points. Terrible experience..

Booked wrong date tried to cancel and refund or at least let me change the date and they wouldn’t do either

The desk lamp was missing a bulb, but the staff put in a new bulb while we were out. The tv did not work, so that was disappointing. The sidewalk ramp to the handicap parking was broken/uneven and quite a steep transition, and my wheelchair had some difficulty going up and down, could be very dangerous for others, fortunately my wheelchair has anti-roll bars. The pool was out of order, and there looked like there was a lift so that was good, but didn't have the opportunity to check it out. Did not try the breakfast or bar, thankfully the airport shuttle was free, and that was the main reason why we chose this hotel also the fact that it was a Sheraton brand, I had higher expectations, but won't be coming back :(

Just a quick overnight to catch flight in morning. Shuttle driver was awesome, helpful and we had a great conversation. Would stay again

First room smelled lile hookah smoke very bad. Had to request new room. Primary room had hair from previous guests everywhere and didnt feel very clean. Hotel staff was also rude at certain shifts and very difficult im reviewing our breakfast options.

The facility is very clean and staff will accommodate your every need with excellent customer service and care. Most of my experience was 5 star. The shuttle feature is awesome Jose is the best.

The room was spacious. The staff there was very unhelpful and barely smiled. also not responding to my messages before I came when i asked about the airport shuttle. i had to pay $70 to the taxi to get there. also i requested a shuttle the night before and when the time came the shuttle wasn't there and wasn't ready and i was told to wait for 20 minutes for the shuttle to come and i had to catch my flight so i had to take a taxi from my own pocket. also i was charged an amount of money for insurance when i checked and they told me that they would refund me the amount after leaving but they charged me and now i can't get my money back because basically they don't check messages and don't have a contact email.. Also the pool was closed during my entire stay, they kept saying that the pool is in maintenance.

Convenience

Their phone was not working - apparently for at least two days - and I could not reach them to get a shuttle from the airport. The ordeal took me over an hour and a half just to get to the hotel. And I could not get a hold of anyone anywhere related to four points Sheraton. The customer service was horrible.

It did start off well with a room upgrade so perhaps this was unlike the norm. Stayed in the hotel total of 5 nights. Requested my room to be cleaned every single day. Despite promising to clean the room, staff only did so once out of the 5 nights. Quite disappointed by this Marriott property. Seems like the place is not ran quite efficiently.

The hotel was clean. Going into a hotel where people work in hospitality should have happy people working the front desk. The thing that was difficult for us was the smell. We travel often and some hotels have a pleasant fragrance wafting through the entrance and hallways. This smell was overwhelming of a men’s nighttime fragrance and was there for our entire stay. It was strong enough to draw a cough. Big turnoff for us.

The pool is just for show. Everything else is decent.

Our handicapped room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Parking is easy.

Staff..asked for wake up call didn't come. Given the wrong room didn't want to give me correct.
