Great breakfast, helpful staff.

I loved that we had a little patio off the room towards the water. Loved the wine and cheese offered from 5 to 7.
-
The room was clean but did have an odd smell. Parking was difficult one day because of an event but the staff was helpful. The breakfast was good. This hotel is right off the interstate which is convenient but it is also loud - you can hear it at night. Overall the stay was fine, but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

We stayed on the lower level and a patio with chairs looking at the water. The room was spacious and clean. The hot water was fantastic, with plenty of pressure. The breakfast in the morning was extensive, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, veggie frittata, scramled eggs, bacon, sausage, and Belgian waffle maker! There is also a bar where you can ask for your favorite coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino, or Latte, to be made on site! Our favorite amenity were the bikes available to use! There is a bike path behind the Acqua that you can take to Sausalito(3.5 miles) and if you want more of an adventure, follow to and over the Golden Gate Bridge to Downtown San Francisco! There's a wonderful activity trail that goes along Crissey Field all the way to Embarcadero. After exploring San Francisco, catch a Ferry back to Sausalito and take in the views!

Friendly stuff, linens smell too strong of bleach, which makes me nauseous .

However, the biggest issue was the staff and overall attitude, which really affected our experience. We were traveling with a child and were initially placed in a very noisy room. Be careful when booking — the hotel is located right next to a highway, and some rooms get significant road noise. I explained that it would be impossible for us to sleep in those conditions, but instead of resolving the situation, we were told we could switch rooms only by paying extra. This felt very unfair — in situations like this, I believe a hotel should offer a solution or upgrade, not force guests to pay more. We also had a very unpleasant situation with the EV charger. After our Tesla finished charging, my husband returned the adapter, but later I was surprised to receive an email saying we hadn’t returned it — and we were charged for it not once, but twice. I called the hotel multiple times to resolve the issue, and the staff were rude and insisted the adapter had not been returned. Only after three calls did they finally admit it was their mistake. Unfortunately, the issue is still not fully resolved — the charges have not yet been reversed, and I have not received any confirmation by email. Overall, while the hotel itself is good, the service and handling of issues were very disappointing.

I am so pleased to be able to say that I enjoyed every single aspect of my stay. Staff was kind, easy going, efficient, informative and friendly. My junior sweet was quaint, sparkling clean, perfect, honestly. I very much appreciate that ownership keeps the rooms fresh and modern. Upgrades are incredibly expensive, but they appear to have been mindful and it shows. My balcony was nice and large, overlooking the water. Fresh air, a large glass of wine and some snacks, and life was feeling pretty amazing!

This might top the list of favorite hotels! The staff truly goes above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel special! The breakfast, the specialty coffee bar, the happy hour, the cookies, the view, the comfy beds, the free bikes, etc... Gustavo was super helpful with recommendations, but the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you! 💚

Mattress was excellent. Room was very clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent uncommon in American Hotels, but comparable to fine Hotels in Europe. No obnoxious facility fees.
