YVE Hotel Miami

Terrible experience . Not worth it

There are no amenities. The hotel basically serves people going on a cruise. They hotel charged me $500 for smoking in the room and I do not smoke. I have called and emailed the hotel several times and they did not respond. The hotel is inexpensive for a reason.

The hotel was older but clean and well priced. Parking was a nightmare, but we were staying there during the World Cup so maybe it is not always like that....valet was ridiculusly expensive though at $55 per night. Then you have to tip on top of that. I forgot my flat iron in the room and emailed to see if I could get it back. They never repsonded.

Room could have been a little more clean. Old dirty ragged chair in room. Carpet dirty and tub not draining well. My husband killed a bug on the torn curtain. Room a little run down. Could use a remodel but overall it’s a good spot. Despite the little issues I had I would stay again.

Clean and close to Brightline train.

Great location with lots of dining and drinking options close by.

The YVE advertised a bayfront park view room - from the pictures looked excellent- however after paying extra the mesh transfers across hotel blur any view. Only one lift was working so we walked the 7 floors most times. Only one night there was poop on the stairs. Reception informed. Check in request prior to arrival ignored. The rooms are very basic and dated, blinds off the curtain rail. Air conditioning sounded like a truck. The toilet is unbelievably close to the basin in a tiny bathroom. This is a cheap hotel in a great location charging 5star price. I have stayed in hotels for 100+ nights this year and nothing has been this poor. I cannot recommend even given the location.

The hotel was perfectly located for our needs, directly opposite Bayfront Park for the Miami Fan Zone and only 100m from the Metromover making access from Miami International Airport easy.

This hotel was reasonable nd in a great location. The room was cool, clean and spacious and the restaurant had an awesome breakfast. We were going to order an uber for the port but they had a shuttle $12 per person, which was convenient and ran frequently. There was a 24 hr CVS which was across the street for the last minute purchases before leaving for the port. Bayside was in walking distance of the hotel which offered some great shops and dining options and entertainment. We will stay there again.

Air conditioning was loud inside room and it’s a very long wait to get on the elevator and the staff isn’t very friendly or helpful

Room was so small that you could not pass in it. Bathroom was so small I busted my head on the sink trying to move around in there air conditioning was not working air conditioner. Thermostat was reading 60° when we walked in I changed it to 72 automatically after two hours no change in temp. I called for a Maintenance Tech He came up to the room and right off said I don’t speak English I said that’s fine I have translator to communicate after 15 months with him saying the unit is working fine I told him I set it to 72 two hours ago and still no change he said that’s normal I said no it’s not but he left room anyways so I went to bed and got up every hour and turned air on to cool down and turned back off.

Great location, but save yourself the money for getting the bay view. You can NOT see out of it. Paid extra for the bay view to it only be covered by some film and be all blurry. I would much rather have had a TV screen showing outside as it would’ve been more effective. Very disappointed on that end. They also charge mandatory resort fees. I was advised they could be removed if I didn’t utilize the services, which I didn’t and still got charged the fees.

Location location location - it was great… everything else not so wonderful … we booked a king room that sounded and appeared on the website to be a cute boutique style room … literally a box with a loud air conditioner … the windows were high so it felt extremely claustrophobic … I went down to ask for a room with a window I could actually look out of - she reluctantly changed the room - thank goodness … but why didn’t she put us in that room to begin with? I’m not saying it was over the top better but she must have known how awful that box was!!! And they were not at full capacity… the hotel is older but clean… the shuttle to the cruise ship was great (you have to pay but worth it) … just make sure you ask for a room with a window!

The hotel was very was nice. The lobby was clean and well decorated. The room was clean, but did have some spots the sheets. The staff was very helpful and did accommodate us with checking in early.

Great location and service. I gave 4 because it’s the elevators are small and you have to wait a lot and the restroom is extremely small.
