Golden Valley Hotel

Golden Valley Hotel is a hidden gem!! The rooms are beautifully designed and have excellent decor. The bed is super comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Breakfast is amazing, great vibes, delicious food, complemented by rooftop views. Very well situated in Poblado. Highly recommend this stay!

Excellent Breakfast buffet and great kitchen staff Room confortable On the second day of our stay, we arrived at the hotel at six in the evening and the room had not been cleaned.

The receptionist were phenomenal. Got there a little earlier than our check in time and they allowed us into the hotel and honestly that was everything for us. Given we had been flying since the previous day. The room was aesthetically pleasing. Just perfect!! Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Totally worth every penny.

Lovely staff, clean, tidy and good location. The blackout blinds wouldn’t work. Staff did eventually fix it though.

Constructions around are noisy in the morning.

Everything was as described and the staff was attentive. There was construction across the property and, only for one day during my stay, there was drilling that woke me up very early in the morning and kept me up through the afternoon. Not the property’s fault though.

The hotel location was pretty good and the staff was nice and welcoming ! The room was clean…first we got out into a room with NO windows. Then we changed the reservation to a room with windows but these were the size of an airplane window and did not open…therefore the room had a weird musty smell…. Also, the pool floor would rub of onto your skin so you end up blue. The hotel in general is just ran down…there were water leaks in the reception, one of the showers by the pool didn’t work etc Also, they charged for EVERYTHING, we asked to bring ice to the room and they wanted to charge us, we also left our key inside the room and they wanted to charge us to open the door. Finally, the breakfast was not bad but had almost no variety so for a hotel that says it’s 4/5 stars the overall stay was really unacceptable.

I like the property that’s close to everything.. but I don’t like the cleanliness they never change my bedsheet and barely give me new towels. Can’t smoke in the property even if you book something with balcony. Will I stay again here? No . I won’t recommend it either. I love the front desk as they were helpful but other than that . Everything is disappointing

The hotel is very good especially the rooms and the rooftop. It can be booked without any hesitation. For me it was the best hotel in Colombia.

The location is great, the staff is amazing they are taking care of everything and the place is very clean.

Great location

Everything was good, but the room is quite small actually. Bathroom was wonderful and sound control between rooms is not perfect. Room size was a bit small. Sound control between rooms imperfect..

From our arrival to check out, the staff at reception was nothing but kind, attentive and helpful. We especially appreciated Santy at the breakfast terrace each morning greeting us with a smile. This hotel is well situated in a safe and walkable area close to a lot of cute cafes and restaurants as well as the Poblado Park. I was even able to get my hair done next door at a really good hair salon. Breakfast is super complete with beverages, fruits, typical Colombian dishes and ready to order eggs to have as you like. They also have different milk options for your coffee or tea in the morning. You get amazing views each morning at the terrace, and sleep soundly as you are close enough to things but far enough where you cant hear the parties. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to go back !!! We noticed that after the first time house keeping cleaned our room we got really stained sheets and towels. They were clean and smelled good but couldn’t help but notice the stains on them. We didn’t request to change it as we were leaving soon … It would be helpful to fix the missing shower door situation - we read from previous reviews before coming and it is correct. Lots of water will start to pool in the bathroom floor after you shower

the breakfast was super excellent and the attention of the personal is was very nice, the location we can do anything and we con walk very safety the MOST MPORTANT IS THE VIEW from the top roof the restaurant was super I'm recommend diner in the top the view

The experience was amazing. The room was nice. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. Shout out to Santi in the rooftop (breakfast) he is the sweetest. I was located in the second floor and you could hear the noise from outside. But will do it again if I had to because everything else was great.
