The night view from our room and from the outdoor bath was spectacular. We forgot two items at the hotel, and the staff looked diligently to find them and mail them to us. There were no non-smoking rooms to reserve, but the staff had made sure that there was no odor in our room. The shuttle service was exceptional.

Everything was so neat and quiet, cozy and stylish. Nothing

It combines the charm of a traditional ryokan with the amenities of a modern, more western style hotel. Excellent food and friendly, helpful staff, always ready to meet your needs. Add to that an outdoor, rooftop onsen and you have everything you need. Next door to the famous Dogo Onsen, a nice shopping arcade and bus and tram spots and its location can’t be beat.

Friendly staff, dining, accessibility to the bath, roten bath, location. Nothing

The location is excellent being right across the street from the dogo onsen and near restaurants and shops. It’s also only a few minute walk from the trolley station. The rooms themselves are really beautiful. The outdoor onsen is lovely. The restaurant and bar areas were very quiet at night and felt deserted.

The presentation of the property was immaculate. The room and furnishings were spotless, the onsen and sky bar were very special. The kaiseki meals served were exceptional and a credit to the chef's skill and creativity. Ehime cuisine and local ingredients were front and centre. Highly recommended. The property is also literally adjacent to the Dogo Onsen. Fantastic location. Nothing.

Perfect breakfast! Need lots of time to get to try everything! lovely onsen, lovely room! we have dinner set as well, which was wonderful! had a wonderful time! need to pay for parking but seems like its a thing here. there's a resting veiw spot on top floor where onsen is, its a nice sitting resting spot, however, only ice water was served there which was a pity compare with other Ryokans.

Just besides Dogo Onsen at the heart of Dogo. Provides a good open air onsen at the rooftop. Very good Keiseki dinner and buffet breakfast. The suites are newly renovated. The traditional Japanese rooms are a little old.

Both the outdoor and indoor onsens are good, Dinner and breakfast are sumptuous and delicious. Location is great, across the road is Dogo Onsen. Room is spacious, modern and have all the amenities needed. Price is towards the high side.

Excellent location next to Dogo Onsen Honkan. Great Kaiseki meal, good value. Great outdoor Onsen on top floor. Breakfast so so. Room traditional tatami mat and futon, toilet and shower small.

- The dinner and breakfast was great for a reasonable price. - The hotel location is near the Dogo Onsen main building. - Nice hotel, clean room and bathroom. - I called the hotel in the morning to ask the staff if it's okay to arrive a little bit late for the check in, and the staff response was SO unpleasant. He treated me like I am a nuisance and not a guest. - The hotel didn't provide bags to put our towels etc to explore the onsen town. I called the front desk if they have some bags or baskets that we can borrow, and the front staff answered that they can lend us some nylon bags. But. when we came down to the front, they said they didn't have any nylon bags (even though they just said on the phone that they have some nylon bags) and they ended up giving us plastic bags. So yeah, we explored the famous Dogo onsen WITH plastic bags, confused with the inconsistency of the staff. - Turns out, they have small baskets on a table next to the front (but it was so small that towels won't fit inside), but the front didn't inform us about it when we first checked in.

Value for money. Great multi course dinner. Delicious breakfast with good selection of western and Japanese food. Opposite Dogo onsen n shopping arcade. Because we don't drive, need to take the tram to dogo onsen from JR station, lugging our luggages.
