Basic property, convenient location.

Also, it's only a 15-20 min walk to downtown Manitou. Which btw, if you take that walk, a lot of it can be done on a little hidden path right next to the river. It's gorgeous.

They emailed me 5x wanting to know what time we planned on checking in, even after I told them our timeframe. The rooms were super small, bathroom fan was super loud. Idk if we would go back.

It is a nice older motel. Location is very convenient. It has a nice family room. That has a back bedroom with door and a queen bed with a separate AC unit. The other 2 queen beds are together in the main room. The bathroom door shut but didn't lock.

Right outside our door we could view Pike’s Peak and the Manitou incline. The benches around the doors made it inviting to side outside to enjoy the fabulous view. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Weird metal frame around the bottom of the bed sounds like thunder if your foot hits it. Thin towels, and bed was just tolerable. Ok pastries but AWFUL coffee.

The location was good, room clean and comfortable.

Super clean room. Great location and parking. And the right price. Front desk guy was less than useful, but it didn't impact my stay.
-
Friendly, welcoming staff; breakfast was basic, but good. Convenient location to catch free bus 3 or 33 to the local sites, main town strip, Pikes Peak Cog Rail station, Garden of the Gods. A few eating places easily in walking distance or more reachable via the free buses 3 or 33. We didn’t try the outdoor pool, but saw a few people enjoying it. One thing that we would have desired, but was not available, would be permission to use the breakfast seating area to socialize and play cards or other games during the evenings.

The motel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The carpet and floors were clean, and the room felt cozy. Communication with the host was easy, and they were responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Just the couch smells like wet smoke. But overall everything is perfect.

We were on the back side of the property with no view really.

I have opted for this motel over others because they have a family suite - 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. My family of 5 are comfy. I will avail of them again if I have to come back! It is still close to everything…
