La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Macedonia

The hotel was conveniently located in proximity to restaurants and major road ways. I liked that it was pet friendly. The room was clean and quiet but furniture had visible wear and the room had a smell. Staff was very nice. Overall for the price I would stay again.

The free breakfast was horrible.

We had a suite and it’s wasn’t vacuumed. There were Cheerios all over the floor. The sink drains were both clogged. The hot tub was nice and the breakfast was good.

Was not a fan of the hotel, smelled like weed and needs updating!

This property is not maintained or kept clean. The floors and carpets were filthy. Terrible odor on the 2nd floor and possible hot boxing in rooms close by.

There was blood on the sheets and the comforter. When contacting the person in charge, they said they would be coming to the room. They also needed more towels so went to the desk. They were given sheets to put on themselves. The mattress and mattress cover were filthy. The second bed was also dirty. The room my husband and I booked the furniture was the same. The mattress was dirty too as I checked for bed bugs. The drained in the shower did not work. The beds were not even a full size. The third room we booked for a friend and our adult son had furniture the same. They had no soap and had to call the desk about that. They also called the desk that their TV didn't work. They were told that all the TVs were not working. Our TV was working so not the case! The next morning was just as bad. The breakfast hours were 6-9. No coffee or breakfast items until 7. The counter was dirty and not cleaned, crumbs at the bottom of the utensil holders. The juice machine drip pan was filled up with liquid. This area was not well kept and concerning. When reading reviews after our stay on line, not Expedia reviews, people were saying the same thing we experienced. Expedia reviews had some 10/10. This hotel should be investigated!!!!

The lobby and elevator were dirty. There were roaches near the lobby elevator door. Staff was friendly and helpful replacing a broken hairdryer. They are the difference from one star to two.

The room was spacious. ONLY because the 1st floor level was full, was I able to have my service dog with me on the second floor. I suggest more rooms are available on at least the second floor for service animals. Be sure and notify the hotel in advance. Overall, it was worth the stay.

The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and lovely to speak with as he checked me and my sibling in. I will say that I wish the sheets/blankets for the pullout bed had been cleaner. There were still stains that could have been cleaned better (ie a blood stain) but I had a blanket I brought with me so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Other than that it everything else was great.

Good basic hotel for the price, just a little tired room. Unfortunately the breakfast was not good at all, as I was making toast and discovered they were out of butter after I had already began toasting the bread. The omelette was extremely processed and nasty and the bagel was dry. Everything else was acceptable about the hotel.

Location great with out trip & for our dog. We had the first room on first floor next to pool area. This was great to take dog in & out but every time someone went out the door made a loud noise Not sure … the door noise has a remedy ??? Maybe some insulation or ???

Based on location is why I booked hotel. Check in process went smooth and front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I would not stay at hotel again. The breakfast did not provide enough options for our party, but it was nice that a Bob Evan's was next door. Also, hotel should not provide linens with stains. Does not matter that they have been washed; seeing blood stains does not make patrons feel good about hotel.

The best I can say is was good location for.my needs. Saw good reviews beforehand, my experience was the property overall is a bit dirty looking. Breakfast average with no meat selection available and small dinning area that was crowded due to size. I stayed three nights and my room was not cleaned /touched the whole stay. I came back each day from hiking to find the room untouched. There was no conditioner in the room to start with, I had 2 towels for 3 days . No coffee by day 3 morning. The evening I went to use the pool the whole hallway was blocked by equipment. Needless to say I would not recommend for the cost there are other places in the area. The room itself was not bad, bed comfortable. If your just looking for a bed and not a vacation , your probably okay. Myself would not return
