The breakfasts were outstanding—every single bite was delicious, and it was obvious that great care goes into every meal. We also loved spending time walking through the Old Louisville neighborhood, admiring the incredible historic homes just steps from the mansion. The staff were exceptional. A special thank you to James, who was tremendously helpful throughout our stay. His recommendations for things to do, places to visit, and local insights made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, historic, and welcoming place to stay in Louisville, we highly recommend Dupont Mansion B&B. We would happily stay here again!

A couple hitches with checking in and getting a code but otherwise very satisfactory stay.

Excellent breakfast

Beautiful home with updated modern amenities while keeping the historical architecture intact. A must see and stay while in Old Louisville. Comfortable room and bed. Will definitely return!

The Inn exceeded our expectations. The arrival and departure process was efficient and easy. The location was perfect and walking distance to attractions and several dining options. The breakfast was as amazing. Many thanks to James and Thomas for the hospitality.

A lovely place to stay in Louisville. Ideal location if coming for themShakespeare festival in nearby Central Park or a morning stroll at Saint James Court. Parking was not a problem. The house is beautifully furnished but the small rooms are not well suited for reading or meeting people. My bedroom was simple but comfortable. The kitchen is convenient. The breakfasts are delicious fruit starters and one main which changes every day. Drip coffee and OJ. Overall, an excellent choice if looking for a Victorian mansion B&B.

Very nice people. It was a nice stay.

The stay was amazing. The house/B&B is absolutely stunning inside and out. The breakfast was fantastic as well, everything felt very personal and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anybody looking for a more personal and at-home-feeling stay rather than a typical hotel!

Great stay!

Oh and you are in the heart of the old lovely homes! Gretchen from Seattle

No staff was present during the stay. Breakfast didn’t start until 8:30, which was too late for us to wait for. For a bed and breakfast establishment there wasn’t that “feel at home feeling”

Highly decorated large period home in Old Louisville with modern comforts. Must be able to walk up stairs for most rooms. Community area for coffee and full refrigerator. Large bath with soaking tub and separate shower. Easy on street parking. Walkable neighborhood but rare restaurant, coffee shop, or store around. Breakfast featured southern cooking with a flair and very informative hostess. Glad we stayed here on our trip through Louisville. Be sure to read the clever instructions manual. Need to consider age and mobility when staying here

Our biggest problem was not getting any hot water in the shower or the bathroom sink tap even after letting the water run for 20 minutes with the knob turned to the max on the right hand side (tried other settings too). And the bnb message about the access code did not arrive “within 48h of check-in” as given in the Expedia description, but just 5 hours before check-in, after multiple phone calls and emails to them.

Everything was wonderful!

The staff and breakfast served was excellent. Amazing time, I will come back next time!!

Everything was amazing. We will travel back to Louisville if for no other reason than to spend more time here. Would live to see it in full spring.
-
The quality of the breakfasts served was an unexpected surprise. Gourmet biscuits and gravy like no other that I've ever had. It began with really good coffee and a chilled strawberry puree cup. Definitely not what the Hampton Inns or Holiday Inn Express has to offer. The well cared for Victorian era elegance, an exceptionally large room and bath made the DuPont my go to B&B in Louisville.
