Hollywood VIP Hotel

The location was great but the accommodations were bad and the building needs to renovated.

Room was okay, had to go to the front desk for toilet paper, more towels (we had two, no washcloths and no hand towels), more shampoo, and a hair dryer. “Free Breakfast” was cereal and toast. They charged $30 a night for parking but couldn’t guarantee a spot. However they would offer a refund for the day if you couldn’t get a spot. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay, this wasn’t the worst. If you are looking for somewhere nicer, I wouldn’t recommend and probably wouldn't stay again. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Which we really appreciated.

The rooms had stains and had an aircondition that was way too loud to even sleep through. Showering was a mess because water would go out everywhere. 60$ deposit and $30 for parking when you first enter the hotel but had to pay as soon as I stepped in the hotel. Also the rooms and building smelt bad and the beds smelt bad and smelt like pee. Would not recommend going again.

Close to hollywood Blvd. Thats about it.

Terrible place for a family stay, the TV had no remote control, there was no toilet paper then I asked the reception and they said there was none and I would have to come back the next day, the room was dirty, the bathroom was not cleaned before we checked in either, there were cockroaches, terrible place, I do not recommend it, in photos it looks good but in reality it is very bad

Exceptional

Excellent location and friendly helpful staff but that is the only positive things I can say about this hotel. The $30 parking was not secured or fenced in anyway and it was full of trash and feces. The AC had to be reset before it worked but was obnoxiously loud. The windows did not latch closed (huge safety hazard). There was no way to secure the door beyond the basic electric door handle (again no safety). The whole place had an unappealing combination of food and smoke smells. The sheets were full of wholes and had some gritty stuff on them. The whole place felt unclean. The “breakfast” is only available for a measly hour from 8:30-9:30. Only two towels were provided, no hand towels and no wash clothes. We would never stay here again. Definitely not family friendly either.

Horrible breakfast. 1-2 people just get 1-2 peice of breads. They just bought 1 small packet of cereal and 1 peice of bread from dollar tree with 300 ml of milk just finioshed with 1-2 guest and after that no breakfast for any guest. I never saw such a horrible breakfast in any hotel or motel in USA.

Walking in the room smelled terrible. When there is no parking we had to walk far for parking. Air conditioning was not working.

The room was extremely spacious and cute. Had fridge and microwave. Staff was amazing! There wasn’t really any amenities beside free coffee, toast, and cereal. That’s the free breakfast. I have seen other people complain but what do you expect for $99 a night. I think that’s fine. Everything was very clean and cute. For the price and it being as nice as it was I’m VERY HAPPY. The location is also amazing! I extended my stay. Great job to the friendly staff
