To start with I have my 87 and 84 year old parents and they tried to put us on the third floor with a broken elevator and after a few calls they changed us to the 2nd floor. Not sure why there wasn’t a message stating this before booking. I was trying to reach hotels.com to change hotels but kept getting the run around from website. The hotel was very dirty in the halls and steps, the carpet was filthy and had a terrible odor with ceiling tiles missing and stained so it appears there was a leak based on water stains on carpet smell and large bubbled paint on walls. No chair in our room. Toilet had a black mark in it, pill on the floor and empty liquor bottle on floor behind dresser. No coffee cups for breakfast, we had to use small plastic juice cups, no sausage gravy left 2 hours before breakfast was to be over, biscuits and bread hard as a rock, no fruit. Not enough towels in the room and front desk couldn’t find any extra. Overall very disappointing! I’m not sure I’d ever stay at a Baymont again. Hotel said that they would’ve refunded our money due to elevator but hotels.com gave us the run around to try and change hotels and there didn’t appear to be a phone # to call just a chat that was going in circles saying it couldn’t find my reservation even though it was out there. Terrible customer service.

Poorly maintained and did not realize construction till check in Elevator down Holes in ceilings Walls Smelled of mold Breakfast sub par No coffee cups Mattress and view the only positive

The hotel was dirty, old, not maintained properly. Breakfast is over hyped. It is simple like most. My issue is the moldy and dirty hallways. The room was old but we slept well and showered well. I don’t need more than that. That is all we got.

Hallways were sopping wet or dirty! Stairwell was filthy! Bedding was stained and room was not cleaned before or during our stay! I’m 58 years old and I’ve stayed in many different places over the years. This is the most filthy and disappointing place I’ve ever stayed

I saw a review that said it smelled like sewer and thought it was a Karen...No it smelled like straight sewage. That place needs tore down it's awful! Food sucked too!

Elevators were out, hot water was out, doors didn't end up locking, and smelled like mildew.

At this time when I was there the hotel had a water leak that went into the carpet on the first floor, so I wasn’t lower floor and then they transferred me upstairs but then I asked to be transferred back downstairs because the elevators were broken but other than that, it was great

Out of order elevator and no hot water my entire stay. Upon check-out, I told them I was not be willing to pay full price for my stay. They offered me $8.80 credit. I'm not kidding. I can't even shower at a truck stop for that!

Staff are very friendly No hot water in the facility

Not much As being a handicapped person with no legs we was put on the top floor with the elevator broke the doors to the room didn't work half the time had to constantly go a get staff to open the door with the emergency key no hot water for the entire stay actually had no water at one point then tried going to the pool and after 5 minutes in there was told that we had to get out because they needed to shut off the pumps as the pool was supposed to be heated as well but wasn't

Well, the staff was very nice and understanding. When we got there, we were told the hot water wasn’t working and that it would not be fixed until the next morning. I figured okay, we can deal with that. Got our room and I used the bathroom, no problems. My mom used the bathroom and the toilet would not flush. I checked the tank, no water. Told the desk and they said they just turned the water back on so it may take a bit for the tank to fill. Went to turn on the TV, didn’t work, no signal. When I picked up the headset on the phone to call the desk the cord fell off. When you plug the cord into the headset, the clip is broken so you had to hold it in place to make a call. At this point decided to ask for a refund.

I cannot say I like any thing about the property. Elevator was rout of order. Room was located on second floor had to take the stairs, however the stairs were completely filthy with cigarette butts, lying on the floor, and the smell of marijuana was horrific. Keep in mind. This is a non-smoking facility. No hot water First floor was flooded Second floor flooded

It had a bed I booked a double queen room and when I got to hotel they overbooked so I got a king room I had kids with me I needed the other bed stayed for 2 nights and had no hot water the entire time
-
Elevator was brole, everything was dirty, and the 3rd floor had awful smells
-
Breakfast food was not good: poor choice, stale food. Hotel and room had a horrible smell. Room was not very clean. Elevators didn’t work. I left after the first night. Smell was nauseating. I do not recommend.

Entry of Hotel smelled like sewage, this was our second stay this year and the entry smelled the same the first time, we were told that they were looking into the issue. At this point I assume this is a permanent situation (unacceptable). The elevator was broken, but we were thankfully able to get a room on the first floor (I would not have been able to easily go up and down the stairs). The room we were assigned smelled so bad we had to purchase air freshener and odor eliminator spray in order to complete our stay. Carpet was filthy. General maintenance was non-existent. Right side entry/door lock was broken, which is a serious security breach. These are issues with the Hotel in general, however the room we got on our previous stay (booked through the hotel) was slightly better and I got the feeling that when we book through Expedia we are getting the hotel's least favorable rooms. We will not stay at this hotel again.
