Candlewood Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista by IHG

We stayed at the Candlewood for a week and had a positive experience. The rooms are new and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The elevators were making some noises and one was taken off line for part of our stay but otherwise, no issues!

I think the price and location are great! Bedroom layout was spacious, bed was comfortable and I loved being able to control the room temperature in the Florida heat. Cons: Towels in the room were not in the best condition. There were tares and loose threads. Room service never came by to pickup trash so it was overflowing. One of the elevators stopped working during our stay, which made checkout incredibly hard as there was one small elevator for 7 floors on a Sunday (typical checkout day). Also, the parking garage has automatic lights. If you go to the garage late at night/early morning, it looks pitch black until you step into it and the lights start slowly turning on. Did not feel safe, especially as I am a woman and was alone.

If breakfast was available it would be ten stars !! We loved it . The staff were really friendly the location was convenient I’m glad we choose Candlewood we will surely be back the only hiccup is parking for $20 a day can be steep if you’re staying a while.

Need top stove and kitchen utensils to use for 1 week long use.

Only one washing machine was working. There was a line to use it, so wasn't able to wash anything. Was one of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the laundry services available. Disappointed that they were useless to us.

What I didn’t like is that my grandson‘s favorite pillow was left in the room by accident. The same evening I called and someone went into the room to check and said it wasn’t there. I called again in the morning the room still not cleaned by housekeeping, and still claiming they never found the pillow. 💔

Room was clean and comfortable, linens and fresh.

Great friendly staff and management. Really appreciated communication with manager who was very accommodating. Definitely will continue to stay there as travel plans allow!!

Location The customer service experience was terrible, my sink was clogged the days I was there and my toilet did not function as well. I was promised by front desk at 1:47 pm Saturday they would have maintenance come to my room to fix the problem, they never showed up. I went to the front desk twice to get toilet paper and garbage bags, Nobody was at the front desk. I never received my items I went across the street to Wawa and bought bathroom tissue for my family. It was not a good experience over.
