Comfort Suites Maingate East

The rooms are not well kept. Showers not very clean, linens had hair on them and room smelt. Pool area was dirty due to other guests not respecting the property, but no one goes around to clean it up. Only way up and down is elevator and it takes forever. They started charging for parking which is insane, I got a ticket for not paying but mine was complimentary due to booking prior to the change.

Room was huge! Comfortable beds! Nice and clean and a good breakfast.

I’ve stayed many times before and it’s always a pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Last time, my only surprise was that parking had to be paid, which I never paid before. Price is not bad but I wasn’t expecting that. Breakfast needs to be updated.

I was satisfied...had to check out early due to changed plans but the room was great, close to everything, very affordable and clean.

Very surprised with this place. Very nice, well kept and super clean. Location was amazing, in the middle of everything fun! Staff was incredible, extremely pleasant and helpful; I will definitely stay here again.

There was a major hassle at check-in over parking. My listing stated free parking, but they tried to charge me. After I showed an email from their manager via Hotels.com, they gave me a free pass. Yet after checkout, I still found a $0 warning violation on my minivan. The desk wouldn't fix it because managers were in a meeting. The room was just average. There was a bad odor when we walked in, the bathroom had a broken towel hanger, and every time the toilet flushed it made loud banging noises. The beds were very soft, though. Floor amenities were frustrating: the ice machine and washer on our floor were broken, and the 2nd-floor dryer didn't work. We had to go to the 1st floor for filtered water and haul laundry between floors. The saving grace was the excellent daily breakfast with fruit, pastries, cereal, and fresh Mickey/Minnie waffles. The eggs and sausage changed daily (sausage swapped between patties and links; eggs were flat, omelets, or scrambled). The location is perfect. Old Town Kissimmee and a small amusement park are right across the street. It’s super close to Disney and 20 minutes from Universal. The hotel was just okay, but I won't book here again.

Room wasn’t clean and smelled like mildew. Housekeeping left dirty towels and during my entire stay. Had to ask for replacement towels. Bathroom smelled unclean and I had to clean it myself!

Roaches seen in the room staff address issue immediately, but that was a big turn off for the location.

Would definitely stay again. We were able to stay in 1 room as a family of 6. We enjoyed every minute of the short walk to old town/fun spot, the 24 hour pool, breakfast. It was great. 1 thing we did not enjoy was the wait time for the elevator. We took the stairs most of the time as we were only on the 2nd floor.
