La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cleveland Independence

The property was in a nice area, close to restaurants and some stores. The rooms were clean but needed some attention. We didn’t have hand soap, body wash or conditioner in the room. The hair dryer didn’t work, we stayed for a wedding so these amenities were very much needed this time. Breakfast is always a great bonus at La Quinta and this one was very decent, hot fluffy waffles, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, bagels and yogurt.

We found cockroaches in the room. We checked out within a couple of hours. Not a good experience. On top of that the hotel doesn’t want to refund.

Stay was fine. Easy check in and out. Breakfast basic. I’d likely choose a different hotel at this location - visible dirt on walls and doors, no sink plug, mirrors uncleaned. For the price, there are likely better options.

Door would not lock and they could not fix it. Breakfast had waffles which was nice. Fire alarm went off at 3am and everyone had to evacuate. We canceled our 3rd night stay after these issues.

They offer free wifi - but only if you are a Wyndham member, which irritated my husband quite a bit.

Travel a lot for work. Have been a Wyndham rewards customer many years. This property is a far reach to be considered worth the cost. Room was absolutely disgusting. Tub had a massive crack with a huge patch over it that obviously was installed incorrectly. This caused the standing water as you took a shower to be brown. The walls had what appeared to be dirty smudges, boogers, and just nasty all over. The ac did not work. Then to top everything else off, I have a service dog so the room they put me in was a room you could tell other animals had been in due to smell. Would not recommend this location especially for over a 120 dollars a night.

The room is a nice size and bed was comfortable. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity.

Didn't feel comfortable here and won't return. There was only sliced bread for breakfast but plenty of beverages.

The location was great for the purpose of our stay. Close to restaurants also. Air conditioner did not cool our room even though thermostat was set on 65°. There was no shampoo in the bottle in the shower. Plenty of conditioner.

Exceptional

Conveniently lcated next to Winking Lizard. Cost was way more than what the stay was worth given the lackluster quality of the property. Overall was run down and things looked unkempt. Breakfast was nothing but high carb items. No proteins.

NEVER STAY HERE! Disgusting bathroom. Large black mold pockets all over shower. Carpets are filthy and ragged.

THE STAFF WERE GREAT WELCOMING AND ATTENTIVE AND INTERESTED REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT HOTEL WAS COMPLETELY FULL AND BUSY

The air conditioning worked great!

Very friendly staff Found areas in the room that weren’t clean, the coffee area, mirrors were dirty, the shower could have been cleaner and had low water pressure. There was no soap in the hand soap dispenser.
