Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable beds! Great bar area!
-
The biggest downside was the constant extra charges. Beach umbrella? $38. Want to use the quieter pool? $95 per person just for a chair. The Veranda area was $250 for chairs or $500 for a daybed, plus automatic 18–20% gratuity. By noon, every complimentary chair was gone, and people were laying towels on the hot concrete. The room was comfortable, but despite setting the AC to 65°, it never felt cooler than 70°. The shower was also surprisingly tiny. Breakfast was good but more expensive than Disney’s buffet, and the service didn’t match the automatic gratuity. Tipping was expected everywhere—even at the gift shop while buying a $9 bottle of water or for a simple coffee. The spa was the highlight of our stay. The couples massage and oceanfront relaxation area were absolutely incredible—1000/10 and worth every penny. Overall, the resort is gorgeous, but we constantly felt nickel-and-dimed. We usually vacation in Clearwater and wanted to try somewhere new, but being far from shops and attractions, combined with all the extra fees, made this a one-time visit for us. It’s a beautiful property, but unless your budget is unlimited, it’s hard to truly enjoy everything it has to offer.

We live nearby and this is our second “Staycation” for an overnight. We were really impressed on our first stay. This time, there was a lot of energy as the hotel was packed with World Cup fans excited to attend the Portugal/Colombia match in Miami or watch it at the hotel. As such, it was much busier than previous which led to some difficulty finding chairs around the pool and getting the attention of waitstaff. Our room was nice-although it could use a little love. We went to the Diplomat Prime restaurant, which was new from our previous trip. The service was excellent. In the morning, we got lattes and breakfast items at the all-day cafe. The food was very good—although not cheap. Overall, this hotel has a beautiful location, a resort feel, and the service is pretty good. Perhaps, I would look for a little less busy weekend, or a weekday trip, to avoid the crowds.

Best service from front desk to service!
-
The property is beautiful, be prepared to get additional amenities fees daily and high parking prices. Service at the lobby for food and drinks very disorganized. We had to go and get our drinks and by the time a server came to our table the kitchen was closed. We had an issue with constant running water in the toilet and 2 nights of bad sleep due to that noise. Guest services never answered the phone. They need to improve, you want to get what you pay for, feel like we didn’t

Got there and got charge 500 extra dollars don’t know why

Very beautiful, I loved the smell of the lobby. I would love to order the same scent. Outdoor amenities were wonderful. Beach was unusable due to environmental conditions of excessive seaweed growth. Otherwise the view was beautiful.
-
Fantastic property everyone there was great from the check in staff all the way to the guys who set you up on the beach
-
This was amazing. Truly exceeded our expectations in both the quality and cleanliness of the hotel and room, as well as the amenities. The place is beautiful.

Room was great and so were the staff. Only complaint was there were quite a bit of gnats around the bar and the fruit used for the drinks. Other than that no complaints...would stay again.

The hotel was hosting the “Jack and Jill Conference” with a large number of attendees (mostly teenagers), but the elevator situation was completely unacceptable. Out of 12 elevators, only 4 were working (2 on each side), which created chaos. Every time I needed to go to my room on the 32nd floor, I had to wait 30–45 minutes just to get an elevator. Many conference attendees were cutting the line, making it even worse. At one point, I even had to use the stairs because waiting became impossible. This is not the kind of experience anyone expects when booking a vacation. I brought my concerns to the front desk, but they told me the manager was unavailable and no one really addressed my complaint. If you are hosting a conference with 200+ guests, especially teenagers, the hotel should make sure essential services like elevators are fully operational. The only positive part of my stay was the pool staff—they were very kind and professional, and the pool area was clean. Overall, this stay was stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend staying here during large events unless the hotel improves how it handles crowd management and maintenance
