Great location and staff.

The only complaint I have is about their communication system with their guests (us). We checked in a little bit early and the staff told us that they will communicate us if the rooms were available before the regular check-in time. Never got a text message even though the room was available.

Property was nice and food was just okay. The only problem we had during our stay was the noise level. The walls felt like they were made out of paper - could hear our neighbors all night especially doors opening and shutting. The worst part was there was water and mold damage staff on site repairing rooms from 7am-10pm every day of our stay that was super disruptive and not to mention the mildew smell.

We’ve been coming to this resort for several years and it’s the second year we’ve had problems with the room. This year the air conditioning, microwave and tv were not working when we checked into our room. It took maintenance 1.5 hrs to fix the issues and during that time we were not offered to switch rooms. Once complete maintenance left. We went down to the front desk who was aware of the issue and had said nothing during the duration, and the most they offered was to remove the resort fee for one night. Very unpleasant experience to start our trip.

Overall, this is a great hotel for a family vacation. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, making it a wonderful place to stay with family. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant family getaway.

The drinks could be a little bit cheaper as well as the dinner. I feel like when I was waiting on dinner and breakfast. I was waiting way too long if someone goes to the bathroom in the pool and they close the pool, you should be able to bring your child to the adult pool.

The property is exactly what you need for a relaxing vacation. The adult pool has wonderful food and drink service. The Palmetto Market has a wonderful breakfast. The grounds are really well maintained and relaxing. The shuttle service was great and would take us across the main drag to Shelter Cove which has fantastic restaurants. Overall a great experience and one that my wife and I will come back for in the future.

We loved spending time at the adults only pool - enjoyed wonderful pina coladas from tiki bar why we swam. Property was nicely maintained.

While the property is aging the location cannot be beat and the amenities are superb. I definitely rate it higher than the Sonesta. The outside breezeways are slightly problematic. Kids voices carry and I was descended upon by a swarm of bugs tried to fly in my mouth and one night my dress hem ushered mosquitos to my ankles.
