Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Herndon

Airport van was out of commission so they arranged a Lyft for us which worked great! Everybody there was helpful and friendly

Our stay was great

Staff was so helpful in accommodating my car and the airport shuttle was fast and convenient.

Unfortunately, when booking a room for two adults and three children I guess I neglected to realize the room did not have a sofa bed. I have never encountered a hotel that listed occupancy for two queen beds as five. So please read the fine print when booking. Staff upon check-in was completely unapologetic and unsympathetic, and actually not very friendly. When I asked about the option to pay for a rollaway, she offered a crib, when my children were all standing in front of her as teens and preteens. Regardless, if you’re looking for a clean room with easy airport access, this is a fine choice. Next time I will likely look for other options though.

Clean, great location Nothing

In addition to the excellent Marriott bedrooms, this hotel offered shuttle service to and from Dulles Airport. Although we needed transport earlier than their regular van service, the hotel arranged a Lyft car for complimentary transport.

Friendly staff. Checkout was a challenge, but it worked. Clean rooms. Comfortable place to stay.

Comfortable lobby extremely old building/ elevators under modern decor.

The bathroom setup was awkward. The glass for the shower is on the wrong side. Anytime anyone took a shower, the floor pretty much was extremely soaked/flooded. Constantly used up so many towels.

Hotel was a good location nearby airport This hotel was average hotel. There is nothing special about with the price they charge our bathroom exhaust fan was not working. And their rooms are very loud when opener shut. It was all night open and shut noise.

Location for the airport and the metro station to get into the City centre The breakfast at the “Starbucks” was quick but basic

Staff was great, room was clean and a nice size. Great location in walking proximity to metro. Contrary to the hotels name, the metro stop is Innovation Center, not Herndon.

Stayed here for one night because of its convenient location near Dulles Airport.
