Great room, very clean. Had a wonderful experience staying here.

Staff was amazing and the property was very clean.
-
The crumbs and giant baby-batter stain with a still-crunched up back cushion really painted a picture of past tenant activities; but by the time I discovered the short-and-curlies in the shower I didn't want to touch anything in that place.

I had a very disappointing experience at this La Quinta hotel. After checking in, we dropped off our bags, went out to run a few errands, and then had dinner. When we returned to our room that evening, we immediately noticed that the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The noise was constant and made it very difficult to relax, let alone sleep. I contacted the front desk and spoke with Mayra, who told me there was nothing they could do. I tried to tolerate the noise and get some rest, but it became impossible. I later requested to be moved to another room, but was told the hotel was completely full. Based on the circumstances, I did not feel that I was being given an honest effort to resolve the issue. By approximately 11:30 p.m., after several unsuccessful attempts to deal with the situation, we decided to leave the hotel and find another place to stay for the night. Considering that I had to work the following day, the last thing I wanted was to move hotels in the middle of the night, but the room conditions left us with no other reasonable option. Later, I received a call from Manager Reyna Trujillo, who informed me that they had determined there was nothing wrong with the air conditioning unit and that no other guests had complained about it. I found this response dismissive and unprofessional. Just because other guests may not have complained does not mean the issue did not exist. I had already reported the problem earlier in the evening and requested assistance, yet no meaningful accommodation was offered. What was most frustrating was feeling as though my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed. If the issue was not real, why would we voluntarily leave the hotel late at night and pay for another hotel just to get some sleep? Customer service is about listening to guests and trying to find solutions. Unfortunately, neither Mayra nor Reyna demonstrated that level of professionalism or concern. I travel to Texas frequently, but after this
