Holiday Inn Express & Suites Garland E - Lake Hubbard I30 by IHG

There was exposed wiring in the bathroom and bedside. The shower was peeling and the faucet was loose with no seal. The AC never got to the set temp. Stains on the bed skirt. No laundry bag in the room, when I asked housekeeping for one they referred me to front desk where there was no one to be found… I was planning on resolving at the front desk at check out but there was no one there. When I reached out to customer service, I got an apology and an offer of 1500 points= 1/4 of a nights stay.

Mold on the ceiling. Carpet was always wet and water dripped from the ceiling. Everything seemed to be falling apart.

The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The breakfast had a lot choices. The pool was clean and a lot of fun.

We had a few issues. One was we had a pullout couch bed that was really stained and pretty gross. No one was willing to sleep on it. The shower head had also come apart and also wouldn’t stay on the wall (we had the ada room, so you had to set the shower head down to shower). Bedside lights also didn’t work. The breakfast was good though!

The property was not maintained well at all. I was dirty and chipped paint on the furniture and walls. The carpet was dirty too. The breakfast area had torn seats. The toilet didn’t work in the room. I had to switch rooms after maintenance said they fixed it. The new room bathroom sink water pressure was so high that I got soaked trying to wash my hands. I will never stay here again!

Never cleaned my room or provided fresh towels. Entire carpet in the room was damp my entire stay. Some of the lights didnt work when I turn on the switch

A lot of the light bulbs were out on the lights in the room. Shower wasn’t very clean. While we were sleeping- the top of the bathroom started leaking and pouring out water from the upstairs room. Gross! Cobwebs on the walls and entry ways. Advertised as having a balcony but the balcony was not even accessible and the balcony was filthy and dirty. Windows were gross as well

Broken shower chair Rubber strip at edge of shower was off, lying in the floor and water went everywhere It was also a tripping hazard Cable wasn’t working AC wasn’t working had to put it on 66 before the room was comfortable Several Light bulbs were out- so it was dark - we had to go buy a lamp so my sister could read her book We had to use all the towels on the bathroom floor so we didn’t slip Had to blow dry my hair in the room so I didn’t electrocute myself When we woke up there was a dead water bug by the door Worse stay we’ve ever had in a hotel The staff never apologized! Just kept saying “ok”! Deplorable condition Never offered us a refund or another room Thank goodness we only had to stay one night!

Hotel is in poor conditions. Broken seats, doors, night lights, poor drainage, stained carpets, and bed sheets. It looks and feels like nobody cares.

This is what we got for a Holiday Inn. Half the lights don’t work, some lights and switches pulled out of the wall/missing. Large Roaches enjoyed our room with us. Top star on no bedbugs. Cleaning people knock on the door at 7:30am to clean (or whatever they do,) and of course that’s when we are getting ready to go out for the day. Water is a drizzle from the bathroom sink, and the shower is a notch above tepid on full blast hot. Again with cleaning: I’m showering and see a long black hair stuck on the shower wall. Too long for my husband’s, wrong color for mine. Bathroom door doesn’t close by the way. I mean, I really expected a little more for the price and a Holiday Inn. But I guess expectations lead to disappointment. Will now finish getting ready for my evening excursion, and while I do so, I’ll be wearing socks or shoes. I’ve heard never walk a hotel barefoot, but for sure, don’t do it here. Ick!

The hotel staff was great at checkin The hotel was very dirty, carpet, room, bathroom and even outside.

The suite was roomy, clean, and comfortable. I had to request some face towels because there were none but room service brought them quickly. The extra comforter that I asked for had holes in it. However, it kept me warm!

Location is excellent, a few restaurants by the lake within walking distance.

The property was closed to the expressway and near Bass pro. The carpet in the hallway coming off the elevator and down the hall way had stain on it.
