Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Birmingham Fultondale/I65

Easy check in. Clean common area, room was very nice bed comfortable. Breakfast was awesome! So many choices for the kids. Thank you we had a very nice stay

I booked a stay and got to the hotel and there were no rooms available. I also wasn’t able to get refunded. Terrible experience. Do not recommend this hotel or hotels.com. Management was inconsiderate. I will change my review if I am refunded. Otherwise it’s a big negative for me.

We booked and paid un advance for a room with 2 beds but they did not have any 2 bed rooms available upon check in

We booked on Expedia a 2 queen bed room. When we checked in we were given a King suite room. Really needed the extra bed for our kids. All of the rooms were booked so we had to make do with what we had. The staff was helpful getting a roll away bed and the kids made it. Just not getting what we booked was inconvenient. Breakfast was pretty good and staff was super helpful that morning.

To start off we got keys to our room and walked in on someone who already had this room. This could have turned out dangerous especially having small children, glad he wasn’t upset. So we got a different room and was told pool was open from 10 to 10 then after check in they said pool was closed for maintenance which is why we picked this location. However they did give us a refund and we went to an even worse hotel but that’s in another review. The staff was friendly but hotel could use some improvements.

However our room had a “living room” area with a broken TV that had no remote. The TV in the middle of the night started flashing on and off and woke up our infant and I had to unplug the tv to get it to stop flashing on and off. I’ve come to expect better from a Marriott property.

Location was good. Beds comfortable. Reasonable price.

The refrigerator was making noise at night, the room was terribly musty and the bed feels like it’s 20 years old. Not what I expected from a Fairfield Inn.

The property was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff was really nice! Great location as well!

Everything is great here. The breakfast could use a little help. It is exceptionally clean, well maintained and easy parking. The beds are very comfortable every time. We stay here when we come to the Birmingham area for anything.

The elevator seemed as if was about to break down.

Staff seemed okay until I reported and showed them the video and photos of bed bugs ! Bedbugs

Very late check in but was able to do early phone check in to secure room. Breakfast was excellent, appreciated varied menu Limited parking

I wouldn't stay again The front desk charged me twice and it took weeks for the issue to be corrected. I was told that the manager would contact me mutliple times, and he never did. I left messages before I checked out and called twice. The extra charge eventually dropped off of my credit card but the lack of concern, response, or customer service by the manager was unfortunate. The room was old, in need of repairs, and wasnt clean. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom.
