It was a convenient location and saved a lot of $$$ rather than trying to find a place right downtown Birmingham (however, it was also a little pricey for a no-frills place). The staff was nice. Parking was sufficient. The room smelled like marijuana as soon as we arrived. While they did offer to switch us to a different room when I called to complain, we opted to just put on the fan and hope it aired out (it did), rather than go through the process of moving everything again (it was already very late when we arrived). It was also disappointing that breakfast only went until 9:00 AM — even on a weekend. And lastly, there was no coffee maker in the room, which was also disappointing. It almost seemed like there were was SUPPOSED to be (maybe?) as there were coffee cups but no machine. Overall though, it was a fine stay. Worked for what we needed. And I’d probably stay again if the price was lower than elsewhere.

Convenient little town off the interstate. Traveled overnight was late check in. Clerk was nice, felt safe & room was clean. Good place to shower & rest while traveling. Kind of loud with highway in the front & interstate in the back.

I didn’t use WiFi, but I believe there is a charge for it. The beds/matesses were older and there was an obvious indentation where it had gotten the most use. The pillows were average, though too soft for me. The room overall was adequate, staff was nice, and it’s convenient to the interstate with a few restaurants nearby.
