TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Mill at Carowinds Blvd.

The room was amazing, too much of a room for me but enjoyed it. My daughter wanted a bath tub and we were told that the hotel didn’t have any rooms with a tub.

Make sure the house keeping check underneath the beds as we found empty bottles

Very nice, clean room. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean. Close to Carowinds so convenient to come and go.

I’ve stayed at this property each year for the past few years and have noticed a decline in the overall quality and cleanliness. Lots of cosmetic issues that could be fixed.

Very helpful front desk

There was a part of the shower that was broken. The breakfast was okay nothing major. The staff was on their phone while they helped the guess. I hope the price we paid was only because it was the holiday and not that much everyday

Would have preferred bigger pillows

The location I had to change rooms due to the microwave and oven not working and having a burning plastic smell. The tub had no tub stopper so my toddler couldn’t take a bath. I was moved to a room on the ground level. The hallway smelt strongly of weed, all night. The room had no oven and no tub which was the whole point of me booking this location in the first place.

Absolutely loved the cleanliness and the breakfast. Our children can sometimes be a big difficult to feed breakfast as they eat so differently but there were enough options that everyone happily ate their fill. A few tiny things here and there to address like, our toilet tissue holder was loose and no cooking utensils (unless we just looked in the wrong place) but that's just nit picking. Staff was wonderful and will definitely be considering this being our Charlotte trip hotel☺️

They started charging $10 per night for parking they tell you only after you are checked in

Stay was just okay. Room was clean but shower was dirty. Both AC units made very annoying clicking noises when they were cycling off. Free breakfast was not great. Left much to be desired. They charge $10 to park there per night. They never asked me if I had a vehicle but charged me the parking fee. One front desk lady said the parking fee would be waved with a good review. A different front desk lady said she knew nothing about that. Overall not a great experience.

Loves the waffle bar in the morning. Room was very clean and good size for 2 people.

Good breakfast! Convenient to amusement park but not on sight as suggested. Hard to locate on GPS— to my surprise there are two TownPlace Suites in Fort Mill located 10 miles, 15 stoplights and 20,000 cars apart. Don’t make the mistake I did! Didn’t appreciate the parking fee up charge.

We had a great stay! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room had more than we expected with amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location was convenient Pool was not open and dirty - when I asked the front desk at check in if it would be open I was told “good question it should be, it’s a great weekend for it” No bath towels available to replenish the bathroom on a Saturday evening Breakfast - on Saturday morning they were out of waffle mix by 745, breakfast started at 7

Excellent location near shops and restaurants, walking distance to Carowinds

Walking distance to Carowinds main entrance . Literally across the parking lot! Staff is A+++ Special mention to Erica at the front desk. She is hardworking ! Saw her work the front desk and the breakfast buffet at the same time . Very attentive to the clients needs, happy and helpful personality, she made sure that the buffet area is well stocked, greeted clients with a very enthusiastic manner! Highly efficient and just overall EXCELLENT! Nothing I’m very pleased
