Comfort Inn Fairbanks

I would stay here again and i would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to find a nice hotel in a great location to everything. Customer service was excellent and the General Manager was extremely helpful and made sure our stay accommodated. The entire staff including cleaning crew made our stay amazing. This was our 4th time coming to Alaska and second time in Fairbanks! 10/10 if that was rating available!!!

Location was key for us as it was right across the street from the baseball tournament we were up for. Quaint and quiet property. Breakfast was a plus with options to please everyone. Laundry machines for use on property worked great. One of two washers down, so it was a hot commodity. It would have been nice to have run times posted. We had daily room service the first day but not the next, so a little confusing. The front desk was helpful in acquiring more towels. Maybe management can make an area for staff smoking as a large number smoke or vape right outside the front doors. We didn’t smell it inside, but less professional look.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are updated, and the staff was lovely. Despite the outdoor issues and my concern that maybe someone would break into my car, I would stay here again. Super comfy beds.

We had booked a King with easy access. I even called ahead and asked for 1st floor room close due to hip injury. There is an elevator even to the first floor but the room ended up being WAY down the hall! Any floor would have worked if it was closer to the elevator. The first room they gave us was a Queen EZ. We told them it was suppose to be a King. They changed us to a King room but then it wasnt a EZ room and it was even further down the long hallway away from the elevator. I guess I wasn't clear why I asked in advance?? They serve breakfast and the desk person had to keep telling the food person about filling things that were out and needed more cooked. Two of the mornings of our stay all 4 of the coffee pumps were totally out of coffee at breakfast time. We had to ask for some and wait till they made finally more. Today they were all empty again so we just left and finally got some coffee at the airport. Their air/heating system is a pain and very hard to control. The fan is so loud blowing cold air. Your either hot or freezing.

Check-in was easy; staff was friendly and accommodating; room was clean & comfortable (smaller than most); didn’t take advantage of full breakfast, except for coffee, but it looked and smelled good; fitness center was clean and helpful (treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, and dumbbells/adjustable bench); lobby/breakfast area was a bit cramped; plenty of parking, even with lots of snow/ice; will definitely return!

The temperature, but the staff and facility were clean, professional, and cozy

Very helpful staff, they were having issues with their heat/cool system but were very helpful and solved the problem. We would definitely recommend staying there.
