We loved the look of the property from the outside at first but as soon as you try and reach your room you are fighting with a million pigeons. There is pigeon poop all over the entire property. It’s weird because we didn’t see one pigeon in the entire area, they are all living at this hotel. Poop all over the walk ways and on the pool loungers. So gross. Our shower was also completely clogged. I tried in the middle of my first shower to try and see what was going on and found a bandaid in the drain. Even after removing which was the most disgusting thing, it was still clogged. Because we got home so late that night we didn’t want to call maintenance so my husband and kid waited until the morning. My kid did have fun in the pool and making s’mores, however overall we will not be staying here again unfortunately.

Room amenities were lacking. For the age of the building and the price, it was decent. We did have one amenity, and that was s’mores in the evening, and there were elk around with their babies. That was the best part of it. Parking was good. I would give it a 3.5 stars.

Great property and close to everything you need. Used the bikes to go around Estes Lake by crossing the road. Wildlife was walking on the grounds too, deer come within ten feet while on the hammocks if you’re lucky! No complaints.

We enjoyed our stay. The front desk clerk was not so friendly though. Upon checking in, he was distracted with text messages and was a bit cold. When we checked out he again was cold. I don’t know if he has a problem with people who book through a third party vender, but on two occasions, checking in then checking out, he said something about the fact I booked through a third party vender with a rather unsavory tone. The food was good as well as the server.

Location, staff and pool. The bathroom window was broken and would not secure or close.

Location, Friendly staff, great service Nothing

Needs a lot of updating in the room. Could not turn on heat and no air flow in room.
-
The location to downtown, shuttles to Rocky Mountain National Park, Stanley Hotel. Didn’t use car for the five days that we were there. General area with restaurant and bar was nice.
-
Great location, friendly and attentive service, close to downtown Estes. Bar closed early

The room was spacious. No microwave in the room or continental breakfast available at all. The hidden $150 fee with $25/day amenities fee for smores and the pool were an unexpected and unwelcome charge. I did not use either.

We had a great experience and enjoyed the proximity to Estes Lake and downtown Estes Park. We were able to enter into RMNP in less than 15 minutes and it made for a perfect place at the end of long days hiking and rafting. My only complaint was that we had very loud guests above us, and it sounded like they were tearing down the room above us. Nothing that the hotel staff could change, but since it is a renovated motel, the walls/floors are thin.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

I canceled my stay as soon as I saw the room. The sofa had stains all over it, the door wouldn’t close it was broken. The bathroom had no toilet paper and there was hair all over the shower. This place is not well kept at all.

Clean room, helpful staff, nice outdoor patio area.

We enjoyed the stay and property. Bar and food on site. S’mores free between 6-9. Definitely would stay there again the town is walkable but we drove closer because we are just lazy.
-
Overall wonderful. Centrally located and convenient. Very cute. Beds were comfortable. A little loud but overall great stay.
-
It was over priced in my opinion nice location, staff kind enough, but nothing that left an impression. Bird poop all over the decking in front of door entrance with no show of effort to mitigate or clean.
-
Great location. No one cleaned the room during my 4 night stay.

I just wish they would have had a microwave in the room so we could heat up our food. It was crazy hot in the daytime so I would have liked for them to have an ice machine and for the pool to be opened. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Location. Probably one of the worst stays ever. Room was dirty: you could see spots from glasses on tables, floor was not vacuumed or washed. Terrible mattress, so soft you fall into it and then they have hard big pillows. Walls are paper thin you can hear every conversation in rooms that are surrounding your room.
