Residence Inn by Marriott Dothan

We had a very nice stay at the Residence Inn in Dothan. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the breakfast too!

It was meh. The town doesn’t have any great dinner options. The hotel was clean, but getting dated compared to other places with an hours drive.

All of the staff was very friendly and the facility was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was excellent. I will definitely stay again. Front desk manager Brad was so nice I felt like I was saying with friends and family. They pull out bed mattress it's very uncomfortable. But most pull out beds are

1- The person who checked me in was friendly and helpful. She even recognized me from my prior stays at this location. 2- My business meetings ran very late and my stay in Dothan needed to be extended to a second day. A room was available and the check in person got me checked in quickly. 3- I had left my Kindle during the first night. The manager contacted me fully prepared to ship it to me. Luckily, I had returned and spent the second night in Dothan so he was able to give it to me while I was still at the hotel.

The pull-out bed was also quite uncomfortable, though to be fair, that’s pretty typical for most hotels. Breakfast was just okay overall; the selection was sufficient, but the eggs had an odd green tint, which wasn’t very appetizing. Overall, the location is a strong plus, but the cleanliness and comfort could definitely use some improvement.

The staff was good very helpful. My room was exactly like I wanted it to be nice and clean loved the set up. I liked where the hotel was located at right down the street from Walmart, dollar tree, and multiple restaurants you can choose from. A nice pool and the breakfast was well put together and good. I also loved that check out time was at 12:00. Over all the hotel was a great place to stay and I will be returning in the future.

Kitchen in the room. Very clean. Great location. Only reason I gave the breakfast 4 stars was because it actually wasn't very good at all, but 500 stars to lady cooking it, I think it was her first day and I think she was just filling in for someone. She tried her best with a smile and was very helpful.

I definitely recommend the Residence Inn in Dothan. We stayed here while visiting our who is stationed at Ft. Rucker because the hotels nearest the base were booked. This was an easy, traffic free, 30 minute drive to the base. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was spacious and set up very nicely. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and good.

Absolutely nothing. The property is in a good location. However upon arrival I was a bit concerned because the front desk employee had friends there letting them utilize the pool. There was water everywhere in the lobby from where people come in from the pool area. This is a huge fall risk! Once we arrived at the first room I was immediately disappointed. The couch was broken. We went back to the front desk and asked to switch rooms. The second room had stains on the couch & the floor. We were disappointed & planned on staying but once we went outside to get our bags, the smell of marijuana was HORRIBLE coming from the pool. I immediately went to the front desk & asked for a refund. After standing there 5-10 minutes, the front desk attendant came to the desk. She was cold and checked us out. No apology or anything. We were so thankful to get out of that place. I would NEVER recommend this place to anything.
