Beach House Dewey

This facility is a great location but the property is not well sept. The front desk services was poor They have tanagers running it careless and inhospitable. The room floor looked like it has never been cleaned. Pet hair and dust everywhere.The place has potential but I will never go there again!

Great location, friendly staff. The room was decent.

Room was ok. Halls and stairs were dirty. Pool filter was not working leaving the pool really gross. When office was notified they said they would call maintenance. We never saw maintenance come. Location was great.

The wifi is not free you also have to pay 15 a night for parking even though that was kinda annoying it was over all really nice close the The beach and many restaurants almost everything is in walking distance.

Floor was sticky, very short walk to beach big plus, tired from beach all day and couldn’t sleep due to college kids having fun. Cannot really blame them staff was good although had to change room due to termites and ants first floor. Was supposed to be compensated but that never happened. All in all it was ok. It’s a rotating door with people so what can you expect.

Location was great I didn’t like that first of all we were never told about the 3 day wait for housekeeping and that there are only available after that upon request. Fine, we called , stopped in to the office and were told the manager of housekeeping herself was on her way up right away, no one ever showed, next day, again no one, stopped in again. We were there Saturday to Friday and never once did anyone from housekeeping check in or offer towels toilet paper tissues etc. for the money we paid per night, I’m very disappointed, especially when one person said “well they have a lot of rooms to clean” I only saw carts parked in the hallway. Do better

The location was great The carpet was absolutely filthy. In addition to the nightly rates, there was also a $15 charge per night to park once we arrived.

The property was close to everything shops, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely stay again. The only complaint would be the mattress which was hard. Other than that everything was great.

The beds were dirty and so ungodly uncomfortable. You could literally hear your neighbors whisper. Bathroom was a water closet with only enough space for 1 person if that. Pictures were completely deceiving. There was trash floating in the pool.

Location is great. Staff is friendly. Rooms are ok. Bed was comfortable. Very close to beach. Right across from concert hall. Maybe supply earplugs in office? Could be cleaner. Great for kids-not so great if you want to sleep before 3am.

Excellent location! 2 minute walk to the ocean on one side. 2 minute walk to the bay on the other side. NOTE: this place charges $15 per night for parking. This is a deal. Parking around town is $4 an hour. This hotel is conveniently located so you should be able to walk every place and not be ripped off by paying outrageous parking fees.

While the staff was kind, the room was obviously not cleaned properly. The room had mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, there were small rocks underneath the fridge, the floor was sticky, the air was humid, and more

I booked a room in a February, a standard King room. When I got to the hotel I was told that my room was upgraded to a deluxe double room. Upon getting to the room I realized that the standard King room that I booked in the nice renovated half of the hotel turned out to be a room with two full beds in an outdated rundown section of the hotel. I was unable to sleep in the same bed as my wife.There is no way the two of us would fit in a full sized bed. I had stayed in this hotel in the past and it was a beautiful room and great experience, which is why I booked here again. This was a extreme let down. The room was dirty, the ceiling tiles were coming out of the ceiling and the bathroom was gross, I'm glad this was just an overnight stay. What a disappointment, I will not be booking a stay at this hotel ever again when I travel to Dewey Beach.
