Atlantic Oceanside Dewey

The hotel was okay, the room had way too much furniture me and my dogs could barely move. Other than that we had a great time! It was so close to the beach and you could walk to the other side to watch the sunset ill be back!

Already submitted my terrible review and corporate gave me a refund for one night which is much appreciated but your team dropped the ball multiple times and our entire stay there our room was never cleaned once when I asked multiple times

it was good

The only complaint I have is that I had to pay an additional $15 to park there when I was a registered guest. That's ridiculous.

The Beach was just a block away. The location of this Motel was the only positive thing I could possibly say. I was appalled at the filthy condition of this place. NOT WORTH It! To start with we found dog hair all over the one bed. Later that night we realized the floor was disgusting,there was hair and debris everywhere. After wiping most of it up with a bath towel, we went down to the front office. The staff didn't seem to care, they were even ignorant. Acting very immature. The next day we realized there was an animal in the drop ceiling of the bathroom. After further inspection above the shower ceiling tiles, we noticed a hole in the wall that went straight outside. The maintenance manager got what looked like bird nest material all over. He did Not clean it up. After returning from the beach and using one of the towels from the bathroom, my skin was irritated. There was insulation on the towel.

The room was clean but TV was difficult to figure out, no tissues, and hairdryer was broken.

The hotel was dirty. There’s no ocean view as I was told on the phone and the staff was unhelpful and clueless to everything. I asked for a refund and was refused. One we wound up letting our hotel sit for the weekend lost our money and paid for a hotel somewhere else that’s how bad the amenities were equivalent to a super eight

Parking was tight. Up-charging for an early check-in and late checkout is outrageous r when the room was available.

Awesome location - rooms were clean upon check in. Loved the coffee shop being right there and being so close to the beach and the bay. Trolly stop right at front door to take trips to Rehoboth. Staff was super friendly. It was a dog friendly motel- but no signs outside of dogs- well kept- no dogs barking at night. The rooftop seating was nice in the evenings to relax and listen to the music at nearby bars. We stayed four nights- only complaint was we never were provided clean towels or toilet paper and the trash was never cleaned from our room. I had to find someone working to provide these items for us. The room was never checked on our entire stay. Other than that - we loved our stay and will return.

No big issues. Probably more personal but for one I wish they would buy better sheets. I’m not asking for 1000 count sheets, but these were all peeled and I literally could not sleep on them. They were scratching my legs all night. Also it’d be nice if there was a blanket on the bed, nobody uses the comforter that’s on the bed because that never gets changed from guest to guest, but you would like a blanket even a lightweight one and ask for the toiletries. I know it’s costly to purchase that and people take them I get it but I have long thick hair there was no way that shampoo was working for me.

The rooms were clean, staff were helpful and attentive. Great location!!! The beach, restaurants, and store were all just minutes away. Night life is active here! Overall, really enjoyed our stay and will be returning :)
